I'm testing and trying to understand how the system works. I'm using the trailing stop function but I seem that at moment the hedging function (reversal trade with lot size increase after a stop loss) is not implemented, is it correct? Have you got a 20 Pts loss on GBPUSD daily? May be I attached the indicator too late in the morning. Thank you

- The indicator cannot show reverse orders, it would be too much.

- For manual trading, the EA recommended by @Night63 seems to me to be very suitable.

- Very well done, but you can post charts, is easier to check the results.

- That’s what I said for today.

- I always write "New indicator version smBodySwitch Signals_vxxx", so what I post IS an indicator and NOT an EA.

- When I talk about manual trading, it means that one runs the indicator and trades manual what one thinks is right.
One can have one's own ideas, use other indicators, or like @Naight63 posted, based on the calculated values with the indicator give the order with a good EA.

In post #241 I posted the status at 17:14.
There were 3 wins.

Now at 21:37 we have 3 losses (EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD)
I don't know what will happen next with EURUSD, but AUDUSD and GBPUSD were brought into profit with the sliding hedge.
Result is 5 wins and 1 loss!

... But if you have fewer operations for your recovery, I am glad that fewer operations are accomplished. That is the ideal. The EA will be a good tool to work and look for good configurations.

Let's hope to be able to find a right variant for the EA.

As you have already observed, sometimes there are pronounced sideways movements.
For the AUDUSD where I wrote that the loss ends in a profit, 6 levels were necessary.

For levels 2 to 4, however, the martingale is reduced by around 15%, and for levels 5 and 6 by around 80% and 70% compared to the classic martingale. Not bad either.

There is still the variant that one continues as classic trend trading after a successful entry, as long as the trend line does not change its color.

And now the same trade with the classic martingale.

There are also 6 levels as in trading with the sliding hedge, but the factor 2 is no longer reduced, and the capital is more heavily used.

Sorry but i'm not able to take a better screenshot on my VPS.

Anyway, everything is grey at the moment and I seem it's correct.

Let see how this trading day will go!

Thank you

Hi Alberto, please use the version 2.7 in Post #236

New indicator version "smBodySwitch Signals_v2.7"

I made one final correction, although no one noted that sometimes when the spread condition was not met, the background in the chart remained gray. The checking has now been done in general, and when the spread is OK again, the background will turn white again.

For today a new version for the indicator "smBodySwitch Signals_v2.8"

- I got the impression that sometimes after reaching TP or SL, the indicator forgot that they were reached, so I improved that.

- For the current status when entry was reached and TP/SL not yet, I added the information of the percentage achieved.
Sometimes one doesn't want to wait until the full 100% is reached.

No.

I tested on D1 and remain so.

If you want, you can take the trend of W1 into account and trade on D1 if the trends match. It's actually quite good to do that.

If you plan to trade this system as a basket, one could like a done 4 the day when a certain % gain is reached on the account.

Today I have a loss on GBPUSD but I suspect it could be an easy profit with sliding hedge with only one sell.

In my evaluation from today were in profit:
USDJPY
AUDJPY
NZDJPY
AUDCAD
GBPAUD
GBPNZD
Two pairs that showed losses could be wins:
EURNZD
EUAUD

You are right about GBPUSD, the displayed loss is quickly changed to profit.

NOT BAD FOR TODAY.

I have no idea if the EA can bring the same results...
Of course, only those members who have understood and tested the indicator can test the EA, so that they do not get rich too quickly.

Let's suppose this situation:

1st order BUY: stop loss
2nd order SELL: stop loss
3rd order BUY: still opended at daily close

Do you close the order at daily closing, or do you leave the trade open in the new day?

In this case do you accept another BUY if there is a trigger in the new day or do you wait the previous BUY to be closed?

OK. I do sliding hedge calculations in Excel according to post 222.
And I drop the chart amount to a minimum. When old, can't stare at the screen all day.

I'm sorry, but such scenarios have to be tested first, including parameters, etc.

Follow some signals and you will see that sometimes it is advantageous to continue trading on the second day, sometimes to stop.
Conclusions can only be made when the EA is finished, at some point...

Nothing to do with post 33.
