RBA is dovish, which is bad for AUD but still, AUD can appreciate today in London and Wall Street sessions. It's alright, just sell it just before the Wall Street closes and thank me later. I am joking, do what you want at your own risk, but i will be seriously selling AUDUSD and buying GBPAUD just before the Wall Street closes.

Gameplan is ready, let's go.

Just as i expected. Dovish RBA, fake upside move and from now on it should go down. Sold it from the days top

Beware of the US and UK GDP numbers tomorrow though.

Looking like it might be struggling to get above 0.7223. Might be a good time to sell.

Yeah, pretty much been going sideways since the remainder of the US session. We'll see if Japan or UK provides some more clarity. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see it make one more run up, if for nothing more than to take out a few stops. Either way, I'll be prepared to trade in and out of it over the next few sessions if need be.

Hi people

Anyone has a brief explanation why AUD is pretty resilient / strong as of late?
Got a swing sell 0.04 on AUD / NZD from 29 November. Went into my favor till around 06 - 07 december where it rebounded.
I took that cause of monetary policy divergence. So far AUD keep rising. Also against AUD / CAD. I understand oil sold off there.
And the BoC wasn't hawkish enough at their last meeting.
But how much strenght is there left for AUD and where is it coming from?

Happy holidays

Looks like I got in a bit early on some of these shorts, especially aud/jpy. I've already gotten rid of some of that one, and will probably unload a bit more depending on how things evolve over the next few hours or so. Aud/chf is clearly looking like the weakest aud pair at this point. Will focus most of my efforts resources on that pair as it's looking like the most likely to take a fall. Aud/usd is currently somewhere in between. None of them really seem to want to move much. Lots of sideways action over the past week or so. Holidays could have something to do with it. Aud/cad is interesting. The trendline in the image is clearly significant, as it's been tested and rejected several times in the past few days. Got a few shorts on that one as well. I do begin to get a bit nervous once a trend line is retested multiple times. Eventually it's going to break. Will it hold this time? Time will tell I suppose.

Not really sure about aud/nzd. It's been on quite a tear these past few weeks with no signs of letting up. It does seem about due for a correction though.

It looks like you might have been attempting to trade it when on Christmas eve when some of the markets were closed due to a federal holiday (I believe). I noticed the spreads were bad as well so didn't make any treads. Usually the spreads on aud pairs are decent.

Looked for a while like it was flagging against my SL. Glad that I stuck to my guns...if it was a day trade I may have bottled it and scratched it, but had good feeling about it from dreams when waking up.
