Based on H1... it seems like any potential bounce-up is postponed into next week: IF 1.1190-1.1220 area supports!

Time will tell..

As the holiday season approaches, remember to protect your positions. We can have violent moves when the big players are on holiday. As wealthyqueen reminds us, this is not new.

It is always a little different, but basically the same.

I am staying short EURUSD into the new year but....

My disaster of being in wrong trades when markets are not liquid keeps me humble so I am squaring up a lot to reduce exposure. I will hold a very small short EURUSD into the holidays after the selling.

I plan to put shorts back on after new year. I expect a big spike in 2022 as the movers try to paint the tape. Seen this before so if you want to ride this pair down BEFORE the FED starts raising rates, wait to sell after the movers try to entice you to go long!

Let me drop what i have observed

This month will hit 1.19000(don't be surprised)
Look at monthly chart, the level we currently are right now is at the low of the mofo candle that rallied up like crazy.

We all know, that the lows of a mofo candle usually act as support and price repeats itself. The high of that mofo candle touched 1.19000.
Observe that price took out the highs and lows of the candle at 1.19000 thereby making there resistance.

Key support is @ 1.12270. As long as we don't take out the lows on last month, all these will happen this month. I am actually expecting a bullish engulfing month. A close above 1.14000 signals the mad bull run

Another thing to note is that we are just testing the resistance turned support on a monthly basis(try joining the highs on monthly to get the picture and understand what price is doing.

If NOT, I expect a retracement to the 1.1435 before the DROP to the Monthly target.

BUT first, I'm waiting for the BREAKOUT from this consolidation on a DAILY.

Another CRAZY idea!

Last week, the 50th 2021, and the fifth of my Xanax trial, I scored +77% on account (500:1). Extraordinary by any measure... and I feel terrible about it. Increased doses of the drug are no longer producing effect. Wednesday I lost my patience with my short and took +40% just before the big drop. Thursday I didn't trade until late into the session and then went against the trend, reversed late and barely recovered the loss. Friday I was highly confident it would drop big time and I only put on a pathetic 4% (WTF ??) of the account, later increased to 9%, I was overly tense throughout, even hedged partial for no good reason, closing the hedge at loss, I exited at 1.128 having ridden about half of the total move I was exhausted. I should have made 300%, made 30%... I'm up 90% on the past 29 weeks trading.

The wonderful emotion damping effect I initially achieved with 0.5mg, is no longer being achieved on 2+mg of Xanax. I'm tapering off the stuff which is necessary to fight off the rebound tension and irritability I am already feeling (withdrawal symptoms) and staying off for a few weeks. [I'm also avoiding meeting people; if one should ask me about the weather, I'd probably punch him in the face... LOL I'm kidding, it's not that bad ]

I trade discretionary, over ambitious and naturally anxious. If you aren't and don't, you don't need to look into the stuff. If you do and are, you might consider my experience. (I don't sell the stuff; it's illegal for me to do so)

PS A couple of weeks back I got a PM from a former Xanax user, relating his experience, of the drug inducing insomnia. Between the sedation effects and the withdrawal I can certainly see that happening too. With irregular sleep and higher doses I tended to fall asleep, with little warning, at any time. (the chemically induced kind of sleepiness that one can't shake off and would get you dead if you were driving )

I'd be really surprised if it's close above 1.1350
