Now I have to leave some breathing space again till 1259... because :
New and last sell stop 1259, new potential long-term position.
We have very big news all week, so it is a "take some pips leave some at BE, just in case of a BO" situation.
Dynamic SL now at 1296.
Just Moved my 12956 SL at BE, TP now at 1250.
TP hit +14 after coming a couple points away from SL. That is luck
.
And I am done for the day, still 2 shorts(47, 66) under.
P.S let's not forget, price is still in the most frequented levels of the last 17 trading days. Chances are, we are not done going in circles, but we can anticipate a direction with more and more determination, as time always forces it out of ranging eventually.

Quick Weekly Outlook
- For this week I have 1.1330 as resistance but for next week it will become 1.1308.. Which means, bulls must keep it at least above 1.1308 until end of this week to protect the chance of a potential trend reversal..
Bears still have the upper hand while candles are below falling wedge's median line.. Not much to say here..
*Based on M15: 1.1288 is key resistance area..

Hello again everyone, I am back already, unsurprisingly,
Right now, I am missing today's boat? Or we are getting back into the range a millionth time, and if so, I expect end of 1310s to be reached, at least. I just bought here at 12914, 11 pips SL for now. Volatility back in range trade.
Today, unlike other days where I focus more on intraday profits, like last wednesday, I opted for holding on to my days shorts in case of a BO. It is important to choose when I do so carefully. In this case, it was explained in my previous posts. It is quite normal, when I do this, to have modest results, and often times considerable floating profits. These do not matter, as time as proven that sometimes it is worth it to live through these on the long term. Simply put, a good balance of both worlds is need.
SLs of the day s shorts hit and I am very happy with the results +14 BE +10 (1306 short), even if price goes on without me!
1259 will have to wait ! Again just points away for the 1st condition of my 8H short setup to be met ! Happened also at 1263 last week ! Sell stop 1259 still has all its potential, as long as we don't get back in the 1350s.

SL tightened to BE! Bears have a strong hold still... But who knows, maybe a miracle ?
If so, would watch closely, if we get there, 1296-1303 for the 100th time this month
! A clean strong, unwavering continuation beyond that and my TP could be a little larger, maybe +-40. But I highly doubt it.
I usually would have a larger SL for this one as to avoid wicks and probability to get back to .13 is great enough. But depending on my other setups at the time, it is sometimes better for me to exit early and re-enter if need be.
Where is everyone ? I hope enjoying time with your loved ones.

. New buy stop 1302, 10 pips SL & TP.
Price has arrived at crossroads again. And bulls could use a clean enough break of :
If this 1H does not close above 1304, price probably reached the high of the new range, and therefore I would exit my longs.
If it closes above 1304, What I do next depends on too many factors so, for now, I will just leave TP at my best case scenario for this one, 1350, which is around the top of the 12H range, and very unlikely to get hit. Will see tomorrow, if it survives!
Last but not least, in the spirit of the amazing 1W downtrend, I will be aggressively selling again when it comes back in the atmosphere

This rarely happens, but sometimes things happen just as you first imagined them to :

Enough laughing. Today I suspect more of the same, range trading and holding on to a little just in case.
Yesterday, My next long-term short was with a sellstop at 1359, supported my an 8H momentum intrend pullback setup I perhaps talked too much about.
That 8H pullback setup reminds me of many crucial aspects of my trading, even if it does not come to fruition. Here a quote, in case anyone is interested in going down that rabbit whole:
When it was 1263, it was missed by a pip, bulls took over at the last minute.
When is was 1259, it was missed by a couple points, bull took over at the last minute
Now, this important level for me is moved down, now at 1256. This will be my most watch price for the rest of the week; the second being 1330s.
AND if 1256 is touched by a 8h cdl that does not close below it, I will exit all my shorts and call it a year.
If 1256 is not even touched before bulls attack 1350s, bulls will actually have built up some interesting momentum on that scale, and only some wild longer-term volatility war would probably be needed for the bears to be saved. I would probably stay in my shorts, but have to manage them extensively, and perhaps scale down depending on what happened around 1330-1360. 3rd time the charm for that one too? Or will bulls use its failure as a trampoline, as it often happens? One term to save them all : money management.
I just bought the bottom of the range, at 1280, but this 15min needs to close above 1283 or Im out. Price not moving yet...
