Hey there!

Thanks for sharing your results and nice to see those profits!

Here is an example where I use the ATR BE with an ATR trail. These settings:
1. Move to BE at +1.0 ADR (=100% D1 ATR ), BE is set to 2% (which wouldn't catch a sudden big move but should lock a little profit in most cases).
2. Wait for the price to move +1.5 ADR (Trailing Stop Mode) and then continue trailing at that distance.

Of course, you can use a use other Trailing Stop Modes with the BE settings, I just happen to have this setup as a real example.

The ATR is calculated on the current candle, so it will respond e.g. to widen if there is a big move. Of course, the trail price will only advance even if the ATR increases. A larger ATR just means the price will need to move a bit more for the trailing to start again. That's volatility for you!

[Don't know why I have the BE ATR in % and trail ATR is a ratio, I presume I meant to standardise and never got it done! I'll fix that next time.]

Well, it depends on your point of view which fibo zone will you regard as important, and which not. Look at the screenshot below. (Note that the big candles are monthly candles)

There are Quarterly, MN1, W1 fibo zones in this chart. Daily isn't going to hold zone if there is higher TF with much more important zone. (What about Yearly zone, used by large traders?) So as a standalone D1 Swing pin it won't work even though it looks nice. It must be combined with other TFs and even with different kind of components/pins of strategy. I know, because I already rewrote my ATR Ranges pin and made pin for Hi-Lo Fibo tests (still running though to see what can be improved) Tested Daily - all red. Cannot be used as auto at least now. Or strategy needs to be tweaked for exits.

Thanks for the good works.

I'm having issue with your pins not working on brokers with suffix.
I even tried setting the pin to "own list of pairs' and added the suffix which allowed the pin to show signals but not reflecting on the dashboards.
I am using Mathias dashboard. I tried on EAX too and its same.
When i tried on another broker with no suffix, it worked perfectly.

Hi, I think it won't be good to discuss my pins in Jagz's thread, next time let's talk about it in main EAX thread But short answer for when - I do not know. I have plenty unrealized ideas for pins and dashes, so this is not my first and initial focus atm. The pin is currently testing on demo acc to see its funcionality but currently that's it - launched just for monitoring, but its code not yet complete to publish online. As for signal at points 0 and 100, yes it has option to select these zones for signaling, and yes it is MTF.

The MACD pin is old. I'll update it to new standards and post it when it's done.

PS. Did you try using ONEpin? It can do most things you need to do with MACD.

I've released Trailing Stop PIN ( TSP) v1.16.

The offset is now specified as ATR ratio (e.g. 0.05 = 5%, 1.0 = 100%, etc.).
It's best to read the new documentation, there are no other functional changes, but I have reorganised some of the settings and their names.
I also hope the explanations and examples will help more people find uses for the TSP.

This version is not heavily tested yet, but the underlying maths has not changed and I hope I haven't broken anything that worked before.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. I downloaded immediately to test it and here's what I've got with 23.6 percent offset:

Hi Jagz,

I'm trying to set up the OnePin to show when Price crosses MA but i'm not getting any signals.
Maybe there's something wrong with my setting. Can you please help me out?

I've used it with other indicators but can't get it to show MA signals.
