EXY stalling on DXY to complete its "W" pattern before swinging into action.

EXY 2Bar Reversal candle at confluence zone (1.618 FIB EXT level., horizontal and trendline support) very strong leading to a second bullish candle to close above the mid trendline, Fib. Ret. 0.382 level & resistance level turned support.

DXY yet to complete/reach its "W" pattern target.

EURUSD Doji candles indicating exhaustion of downtrend. Likely to see it reach the Fib ret. 0.11 level (1.1238) before a bounce to the upside or back to its previous low (1.1186)?? some mixed reactions, right??

Quick Weekly Outlook

The situation is still the same as last week.. Bulls have to climb above the dashed red "median" line of the falling wedge to gain power.. In other words, as long as price stays below 1.1330 (minimum) we can not have a proper trend change.. If bulls succeed though, my main bull target would be 1.1581 area..

However, if bulls fail, my main bearish target would be the lower edge of the falling wedge: 1.1144 area!

*What my chart is focusing on: Resistance of this week (1.1348), could become support next week (1.1330)

Exactly, what i've been saying and sharing but nobody bothered.
IMO, 1.1330 -1.1350 is resistance. It would become support only if we see the weekly close above 1.1350. Until then sell the highs.

Remember last 2 weekly closes are around 1.1310, +/- 10 pips. I don't think we'll see this week close above 1.1330 either. I think, It'll likely going to trade between 1.1250 - 1.1310 or below 1.13 until the stupid FED meeting.

If the FED meeting didn't make it to break above 1.1350, or if it closes below 1.1280, then it's range bound 1.1150 - 1.13.

FYI: 1.1188 hasn't been touched since JUL'20. Market simply won't move upwards without TA TA and BYE by RETESTING this low and worst case it could go little more lower to 1.1109.

Something could happen and something won't.

Lets see.

One more request, On Quiz, give us the time until the 4hr closes after the US OPEN. I think it would give some time to wrap up everything.

To your paragraph about price not moving up without touching 1188, trust me, market can do anything. But I perfectly understand your position and agree that usually the market needs a second or 3rd touch to that bottom area. But December is sometimes bad for USD.

Guessing the end of week price 3 to 4 hours before market close is not a challenge.. but okay then.. so be it..

FYI: I am planning to finalize the guessing game with the end of 2021.. In 2022 I won't have the time to manage extra events on this thread.. Therefore: enjoy the final 4 weeks of fun while we have it

I am afraid that our guesses will not be as varied , and therefore not be as interesting and fun. Also less participants perhaps... Forgive me if I am mistaken. For me nothing needs to be changed, but I will still make my fun with whatever is chosen of course

I think the coders are working on it... at worst they probably will reload old code from backup files if they can't figure out the problem.. But yeah, it is annoying.. We must stay positive though... oohhmmmmmmmmm...

Thanks mtako, sadly I had to leave shortly after my post missing the drop myself. and before that the range was so tight I was only having break even trades. For today I still have a feeling of the bears lurking, and my current feeling is we are going back to the previous low and maybe even lower. but lets see what the market will give us today. This formation looks bullish but before a breakout it can keep creeping lower for days - it might actually just find its climax with the publication of US inflation numbers on Friday. If those surprise to the upside again then it will probably even collapse through. However, with oil dipping 20% in November there might be some relief to inflation. Any US guys here with personal estimations?
