can anyone help me get rid of this split screen in MT5 please

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.
so i thought i fixed it but i havent. so i added a plain template and it seemed to work
then added an ea and it attached but didnd show. i should see a small trade manager panel
when i add a futures chart, it splits the screen again.
and when i add the same ea to the split futures chart it shows in the top half, when it should be in the bottom half at least

oh. thought i may have just clicked something by accident. only installed MT5 a few days ago, for the first time. it was fine at first. set a colour scheme and not much else. cant remember exactly when it went like this but its at least 2 days out of 3.... so am just trying your suggestions....i already tried a new template. but just tried again and its normal. got a feeling i added a template from MT4 which i installed to the data folder..... got a feeling that may have caused it. hopefully it will stay now. thanks for your time and effort. definitely...
