Here is a link to a screenshot where the statistic with retail longs was at 74% on Nov 16 and it just dropped significantly over the course of the last two days. Meaning retail is logging in long profits preparing for shorts or already opening shorts.

I think kind of like this we will move to test 1.1380, i.e. bear trap at this point in my opinion.

Was waiting for a minimum bulls wick to get countered, very hard to come by today!
Hedging would start at .1383. De-hedging levels are quite dynamic, but I would share only the average, and it would range between .1338 and above. I hope it does not get there !

Hedging makes no sense for many very successful approaches indeed.
But when you have 100+ positions, each with their own rules and going through a period of uncertainty like now or big news, it makes life much easier than to close all (and everything that comes with them) and reopen with a blank slate. It is sweet to get back in when everything is already in place !

I do not share my floating profits from my shared trades, but I would like to share my floating losses when they are significant, for obvious reasons.

Floating losses now at -+95-+85 -+30

Important to share, like I did in other posts, that the number of pips is not representative of the positions real impact(and that goes both ways !)

As you can see, I have gains thresholds, by and beyond which position sizes are affected in order to protect realized profits.
Every strategy has their own day, multi-days, week, month and quarter gains threshold.

Very important to protect realized profits in some way or another.

The fact that the dip didnt even go into the 1.3300 zone (previous high + uptrend) to me is super bullish. Lately we see euro data has been showing strong eu inflation, and I bet powel will not be to eager to raise rates.

On a personal note, checked my monthly stats, I have 88% winrate with 15k profit over the last 2 months, hoping for a good end of the year
H1 Status Update

Bull journey is still in tact.. I am marking 1.13545 as nearest support.. Upcoming potential corrections might target 1.1285 area but speaking generally: bulls seem to be in control for now..

This spike could've gone either way. My hedge is costly, but not as much as if this spike had gone the other way!

Got my butt kicked on the way up and shorted near the top looking to regain back half my losses.

Just closed out with a profit for the day.

Speak of the devil... 1.1285 area is getting hammered.. I think it is solid enough as long as bulls can keep it above my green line: 1.1240 area! Time will tell..

Well done to all above-average patient bears and bulls cashing in and/or protecting their well deserved gains.

Bulls evidently still have the intraday control !
Bears, at minimum, need to follow through beyond .1250 or have extremely strong resistance at 1330s and/or 1380s to counter such power!
Bears will probably have to be even more patient.

Much earlier than thought, Sold here .1306 and, thanks to a much less likely to be triggered counter volatility setup from the 1H. Sell stop 1.12471.
Let's see if bears are serious in making this the end of the correction. Doubt it, but as always, am preparing for the most crazy scenarios, as I shared above and elsewhere. Experience taught me to expect and plan for it all, especially in times like these.

I had to make a hard decision Sunday night and cancelled big long-time plans because of Omicron. That is why I am trading and I am here still sharing.
My sincerest apologies to all who have grown to dislike my shares. I don't blame you. My shares, which could be so easily mistaken for something they are not, have been too often too long and too numerous. Don't worry, I am really done for now.
