Can you explain what you mean by "I wanted to point it before but forget- make your cluster setting volumes right"?
Did you see that i didnt set them correct, or am i missing some setting? The cluster is just showing the m5 volumes right?

Great, i will look at those spots later starting tonight and see if i can catch some of those when i have more practiced!

Really need to dive into spotting the robots placing trades. Watched several videos in Russian with subtitles but doesnt make sense yet how to trade of those let alone spot the trades.
Seem like i dont see any of the same volume numbers in the transaction tape even when i set the aggregation time to 0 ms..

Will practice more!

Got a lot of homework this weekend. Want to increase volume but im hesistant since i feel i overlook something.

mt4 brokers i tried to trade crypto all have either very high commission or very high spread , your trade has to move 1R in your favor and you just become break even!

One of mine has a spread of $4-5 on ETHUSD (CFD), and $30-40 on BTCUSD (CFD) + no additional cost. Which is quite good. However, no leverage (1:1)..

You are digging in the right direction!

I am far away from the coding, I can understand only the logic how the robots are written, and many times I work this situations out and make money from them.
Lets say you can teach the robot to find and enter the trade from the volumes in the glass, I am sure it is not difficult to write such an algorithm ,but you can't teach the robot to close the trade slightly when something goes wrong-you can easily see it in the glass especially when big squeezes occurred, and also make money from them .
A couple of days ago participants during an half hour in the same way one after another pumping and dumping coins both on FTX and Binance(Ar, OMG, Sand ,HNT....) I can't event imagine how it is possible to write such kind of algorithm which allows to make money from these and other fatty situations.

So to write a robot which will point you on a big disbalance between supply and demand in the glass, tape, and the cluster is the best alternative decision.

Sure!

you have right settings for tape(hope so))- aggregation for milliticks +-200, to see aggregated ticks to see buying/selling robots and big ticks in the tape, you should have right volume settings for the glass- to see with one eye touch a big volume appear/disappear(as well as the right settings of decimal pricing of the glass), and you should have the right volume settings for the cluster to see with one eye contact if the big volume passed on a single/or any price. The right volume settings for cluster and the glass depends on volatility and liquidity of a specific instrument.
The right settings will allow you filter situations more correctly and faster.

Hline, I don't know from where you are getting your knowledges about trading ,but they are extremely right ,and your definitions are really pithily. Yes,one day for you it will become "boring", and this is the point you can call yourself "professional trader".

Good that you are still near here. If you are still interested from where Cscalp team earns, I have figured out that FTX and Binance have external referral programs which giving the third party soft providers opportunity to get 25% of any trade commission if it is made through Cscalp API. You even cannot imagine how much money it is ,any MT4 Broker can dream dream and dream.

Hello, I can't quite understand the videos in Russian. Is it about looking for symbols with a noticeable difference between the ask and the bid to place a stop order one row below the bid and one row above the ask?

Hi, Jonander.

As I wrote above you don' t need understand Russian to understand what is going on in the DOM. Yes, in two words the collecting spread/volatility means to find an active Dom with sell and buy market orders in the tape and try to make money by putting your limit orders (not stop orders) between the best buyer and seller price. That's all- plain and simple.

I am always interested in the thread subject and I visit frequently. And good to know about CScalp, too. I had the chance to examine their licence agreement a bit, and from what I understood they reserve the right to use a customer's data (what data exactly is not quite clear to me), which is not quite to my liking however.

On a different subject: Can you guys tell me about the execution speed of your orders (as a taker)? Do you have any info? I like fast execution, and fast in this context means near or below an average human's reaction time, which is ~250 ms.

I will keep that to mind when trying to code up some tools which allow me to monitor squeezes and such.
Currently im really busy at a project so cant trade that much.

Ok i see. I have set the aggregated ticks that way. Can you tell a bit more how you go about the cluster panel?
Is is that you look at it where the most traded volume is located in the x past bars and it will alert you to
watch for big dom volume at those levels? I struggle a bit with the clusters panel and till now havent used it as much
as i perhaps should do.

Would be nice to become a professional trader yes, making it boring is my goal

Hi @Machinator

I've been doing some research and the idea of placing a stop behind a purple level can give a very positive r: r.

Can you tell me how you do the search for coins with purple levels, or prone to appear a purple level in the DOM (or high volume)

Also sometimes it happens to me that using the telegram bot to see the movers, I open the DOM in an asset that is moving a lot but I don't see any level with a lot of volume, and the orders pass so fast that I can't see if it is Identical orders (trading robot). Also the circles are too close together and I do not see the total amount equally.

And as a last question, when you see the activity of a robot or fractional order, how do you take advantage of that?

Hi all, thank you machinator for this thread. I have been looking for a way to scalp cryptos. Interesting stuff, still learning and going through the entire thread.
Had a rough day today, especially with CHR. Was down several trades but managed to get out around BE. Made some bad calls and
didnt see volume levels clearly enough. Thought to see some but they were not large enough, or were eaten really quick so i got out in loss.

Keep it up guys. I will suspend posting for some time and concentrate on watching the DOM more. I feel im hijacking Machinators thread
which is not my intention.

Need to learn more stuff and put in more screentime.
