I really like Heiken Ashi but feel that APB gives that extra information. The ticks show entries that meet the criteria, and crosses show ones that dont so should all be self explanatory. I have marked full trading days although I only trade between 08 and 17 GMT. Money and trade management is very important. Any thoughts would be welcomed. {image}
Doesn't this have the same issues as HA candles, in that they are Average Price Bars, so the candle isn't necessarily showing you where price actually is?

Yes it does have the same issues, but after you get used to them it feels quite normal. I do always have live price and open/close showing as I feel its important part of it.

that is also what my thoughts are...and also with renko charts i have this problem.

but when its useful for you, herewego, then go for it.

Renko are only really suited to EAs from my perspective unless you can be glued to the charts all day and have the reactions of a leopard.

I haven't got a name for it,
The trend is up so buy only
It's just something that I can do with only a minute a day screen time,
So long as I use small lots & have a big bank I can handle the drawdown...

The trade from last Tuesday that closed down 16 & was set to
T.P. at B.E. +2 has closed .......

So close & take profit when market opens
The low is higher than the previous day's low...buy..!!
I will refrain from posting everyday.....I think we all get the idea by now... watch out for the drawdowns

thanks soccer for the intro of this nice and simple approach!

my main trading vehicle is GU and i like to watch monthy, weekly, daily and h4 with this criteria to support an up or down bias. so it helped me;-)

700...& 600....scary if you're not prepared...
