However, this level ~1.1440 could really provide for some (at least) 50 pip pullback, shall we say?

Good things come at a price. Hence the conclusion - long positions are more profitable, since they require payment for their transfer to the next day. That's a very interesting observation and I wonder if that's an indication of what they're expecting to happen like you said....hmm, very interesting lol..
