It's just an idea, I don't really believe in it but I am curious to know if it would be worth to code it. It should be easy.
A classic strategy based on bollinger bands, I was thinking like 15 minutes tf, 200 period, trying to catch strong "whipsaws" outside the bands using Elder's Force Index.
What do you think?

i found a very unique and easy way of selling options in a video. the concept is simple. plot SUM OF 3 out of the money strike price options as a single line chart and apply SMA20 on the chart. sell one lot each when the sum line crosses below sma20. trail stoploss at sma20. the price of all OTM instruments will become zero at expiry. he recommends to use this strategy 2 to 3 dayd before expiry on 15 min or 1 hr chart.

please refer to the images below.
i have no idea of how easy or difficult it might be to code this in mt4 but if possible, it will be useful to many members of this forum.
(ps: in the video the author has clearly mentioned to use this concept in any software or broker to trade)

instead of sma 20 i would like to use the attached indicator for entry and trailing stoploss.

Hello!

Could you modify this existing script?

I wanted to add the following function to have a lower profit just in case the trend changes ( applies to the basket, no single trades ):

- Profit to Close: $25
- Profit to Secure: $15

In the above case the EA will TP at $25 and close all trades but if the total basket does not reach $25 and starts falling it will close all trades at $15.
The basket calculation must include swap fees and commissions.

Im been doing this manually every day and looking for solutions

1) Daily range and mark the 50 % of it

  1. marks highest point of the day
  2. marks lowest point of the day
  3. 50% of the range of the day , currently in using Fibo for this
  4. i prefer the number to be round up /down to .5 , easy to remember, if not the exact point also works


2) A line that marks the Lowest Open and Highest Open of H1

  1. the line end at period saperator
  2. currently im using trendline for this


3) Extra would be nice if

  1. could add any other %
  2. able to extend lines for future use
  3. able to select / use H4 Open to the chart
  4. able to customise the thickness and style of the line
  5. able to shift the text along the lines

Hi, i have a strategy.... basically a hedghing one
So, let's say the current opening price of the candle is above 200 EMA... then i want to open buy 0.01 lot... and sell stop 0.02 lot 10 pip below the open buy And when the price triggers the sell stop without touching the TP and go back up to the previous buy order i want to place another buy order with 0.04 with the same TP as the previous one. And if the price go back down to previous sell stop i want to open sell 0.08 lot and so on. And TP is 60 pip above the open buy and TP for the sell stop is 60 pip below the sell stop. Then, if the price triggered the TP i want to close all trades. And simultaniously open a new one with the same rules.

Could you tell me which TF is your trading time frame and how you come to decision to Buy Sell with this type o indicator, do you rely on trend bias too, why you want to extend the line for future use, when your prefer option is to use H4 open daily open or London open or US open or does it matter?

Hi NTK,

Thank you for your interest, i got a working indi by the name Daily-Weekly-Monthly Hi-Low. Pretty much got what i needed. I played around with the coding and lucky enough to get the mid value and pivot as extra

For me, i'm trading at M15, M5 exite me too much, H1 i felt waiting is too long
how to place a trade, i wait for the price to move accross my line, if it stay above that line = buy, if it came for pullback = buy,
simply put buy on breakout or sell on rejection of the line

extend the line for future use = recycle the line or zone, same thing buy on breakout, sell on rejection
what ever open is ok, i use daily open becouse im in asia , US is at 9pm

Would you please look into the strategy and convert into an EA
Strategy Conditions:
1. EA will activate and deactivate at candle open and candle close (candle may be W1, D1, H4, H1 M30 based on user selection)
2. EA will remember the open price of the candle and place stop order at open price in the opposite direction of initial price movement say 50 pips-(should be changeable.)
(** say price moved up 50 pips from the Open, the EA will place 2 sell stop at open price with same lot size and vice versa)
3. TP SL- First Trade default value-50 pips both, Second Trade default value SL-50 pips TP- 100
4. When first trade TP hit, Second trade SL should be in the Break even + X pips
5. No Trade should be open at the last candle of trading timeframe - Like for W1-last day, D1-last H4, H4-Last H1, M30-Last M5)
6. Running trade should continued but must close at the end of trading timeframe
Anyone have an idea of what indicator's on the chart?

Are you still coding eas?

I need a pending order ea to make buystops and sell stops after a market order has opened.
It needs to be pair specific so when X amount of profit has accumulated it will close all open trades for that specific pair only.

please let me know if you can help and I will try to write a more detailed description of settings I would like.

could you kindly assist with a trailing stop EA. It's a simple one really; The stop loss is place at the shadow of the last closed candle and it follows until the current candle wipes takes it out.

144 lwma levles of ema 10 and -10 , 55 lwma

on the 1 hour chart if the 55 above the 144 buy only at -10 pips from the 144 lwma

vice versa for sell

stop loss 60 pips exit 40

i dont care how far it goes i take 40 and out
