I've been looking for an EA, script or indicator that will show a 1440 (24 hour) candle/bar.
-The difference between this and the D1 is that you can choose the hour the candle will open.
eg. candle opens at 08:00 London time and closes 07:59:59.

I was thinking an ea for an offline chart might be possible?

Do you mean to draw a chart with such candles (re-creating candle history) or only the current candle? How about this one: https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...mt4-h8-candles

Thank you for the reply.
I mean draw a chart with such candles (6 months of data would be ample). A chart you would be able to apply indicators to (like offline chart). A lot of indicators use close price for reference in calculation.

yeah, I downloaded it and had a look. Works well as an overlay on a lower timeframe chart. But trying to apply an indicator to the overlay doesn't work (even if you select previous indicator or first indicator).

Ok, I have forged such an indicator, see picture. You can try it and see if it works for you. That said, it is not perfect, the thing is, each time you would need to restart it, you would first need to delete the .hst file that it created, and which resides in the /history/<Broker>/ folder and has the name "<symbol>1441.hst"..
Here how it works: Open a H1 chart of your symbol of choice and apply the indicator to it.
