Hello all, just wanted to post some price configurations that l trade often. I am more or less a swing trader or range trader. They are essential enguilfing whipsaw patterns at key levels and and work well in my trading plan. I also reduce all noise from my charts as its just a distaction to me. Hope you see these too and take advantage. They occur on all tfs and any pair, Got some examples http://i42.tinypic.com/15zmp8z.gif http://i41.tinypic.com/24qsnrd.gif not sure if the links will work, first time l am posting anything....

Is there a specific chart pattern for a particular market, since I read once that using the wrong one or not knowing which one to use may cause you to miss out on an opportunity to profit?

I am still learning.
Looks like,
There is a supply becomes demand then we trade it when price return to it.

I agree that price is everything. There is so much in price and the way it moves. It always follows some pattern but not the same pattern all the time. With deep observation of a pair one can detect that.

Hi guys
Im having some issues understanding the FTR - Failure to return concept. I understand that it's when structural S/R is broken but i can't quite understand how you trade this. Is it on the retest of the structural S/R?

Sorry if this is a noob question i'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of trading and heard that you guys were the right people to seek knowledge from

Kind regards from Denmark

Consider it as the retrace back to the previous structural break.

AU|US opportunity for 3rd entry but missed for lack of margin.
Compression to supply, plus fakeout (SL hunting) in action, hit decision point 0.75328, then landslide.. but still learning.

Makes sense, it broke 0.70, a major support level. It is likely to drop now.

Any expert traders on here have any suggestion why my sell limit was missed by literally pips?

This happens to me a great deal of the time only frustratingly to see price hit what would have been my target which is often R:R - 1:10. I am quite accurate in predicting the turn around point, just always a bit short?

Hard to tell from just one pic. But I'm surprised price went as far back as it did. Try setting limit orders at 50% retrace. much safer & more likely to get hit.
