3 IB seen on EU. Will next to see a move down? {image}
Ignored
In a bit higher time frame yes, We can expect a move down, there is a compression going up since 28th Sept. So the buy orders are cleared on the way up. But in a lower scale, there is compression downward( supply is cleared on the way down) since October 1st, so price can go up till around 1.17508

USDCNH seeing an IB cum a pin down... is PA to continue or a sign of reversing trend on Daily?
2 week ago there was one similar IB cum pin down...

H4 offering 2 good pin bars (long lower tails) signaled the reversing trend... will its moment continue next week?

It is always seen the PA congestion near 50 SMA as seen @ H1 ...

If your bet is correct and the value of the dollar increases, you will make a profit. Trading forex is all about making money on winning bets and cutting losses when the market goes the other way. Profits (and losses) can be increased by using leverage in the forex market.

Yes price is everything....and I find that it is IN everything we have the option of putting on our chart and taking the time to figure out how to use it. My recommendation is not to disregard all the tools available just because it looks cluttered. The tools (indicators) provide information if you can learn how to understand it.

The majority of people are trading PRICE (there are those who trade VALUE or ORDER FLOW), therefore it behooves most traders to view PRICE in as uncluttered a manner as possible.

By definition, everything we have the option of putting on our chart is at least a first derivative of PRICE. Many are second or third derivatives of PRICE. A derivative of any degree of PRICE cannot lead PRICE. While leading PRICE is not the sole measure of a tool's utility, it should always be kept in mind that the captain of the ship is PRICE. Or put another way, PRICE is everything.

***

I'm going to contradict the argument above a bit by stating that the only two pure pieces of information the Market gives us are PRICE and VOLUME. And the more accurate analogy would actually be, VOLUME is the captain and PRICE is the ship. Thus, PRICE & VOLUME are everything.

Hi HG. I doubt you remember me as I never posted extensively but I was fortunate enough to be here when Red was and I remember your contributions as well. You always offer amazing info, thank you.

I agree with you 100%. I was trying to encourage the idea that the additional information indicators can provide might be useful IF a trader can understand the indicator as it relates to price. ie the indicator is price presented in different format therefore price is "in" the indicator. I now still use bare charts but also charts full of indicators that offer additional information. The difference now compared to years ago was that years ago I did not understand the indicators as I do now. I am not implying I understand what the market is going to do at every turn.

I do not use volume on my charts but I agree it has to be there. I bought during that Asian session dip you provided as my speculation is simply buying dips. And simple moving averages also provided a visual on potential underlying larger momentum....which of course are merely a price result.
Charts are limited in nature. The market does not hide, it can not hide.

Your not so subtle plagiarism of Red's username doesn't go unnoticed and IMHO does nothing to revive a long-ago-dead thread that probably should RIP. Do your homework and you will find out what happened to those individuals you mentioned. Events after Redsword11 exited are littered with those who exploited and some who continue to exploit Red's legacy to further themselves.

I'm not opposed to a thread that operates in the true tradition of Redsword11 but I would never do so under one who can't even come up with an original username that doesn't blaspheme the true Redsword11.

Hey Winston. Most welcome. I remember you and your work on this thread about volume useage with suppy and demand zones. HiddenGap also has contributed a lot this thread a lot from the ealiest times of the thread. You are right with your critism about usage of similar username of Redsword. However, the main purpose here is not an imitation or exploting someone for ones own benefit. I just want to do my best and share what l have in my hand. If my username restrains you from contributing this thread, l am ready to sign up with a new username. Come and lets do our best. Those who exploit Red are the ones who can't mine and who sell pickaxe and shovel in a goldmine. Rather than focusing on usernames, why don't we consider intensions?

May all the best be with you.

The links work and I can see that you are headed on the right path but you are not quite there yet. I am going to say that you need to take a better trading strategy because you can honestly do much better than this. Where you are is where I started. I hope that you have references and you have taken your time to learn as much as you can about forex without letting yourself be distracted by what is not important. If you have not been in the forex business in the long run then you will be able to get what I am talking about as you keep on going. You can also try to experiment with some strategies but only after you are stable and you feel like you need to.

As price is everything, let’s focus on price, support and resistance, and bias. I’ll be posting my entry exits as well as analysis of price action and confluences. You also feel free to share your thoughts and also your analysis. Together we can make it right.
