That's apt! The entire play happens on PRICE itself. Its all about the right price movement at the right time.

If 2/3 came off at 1:1 and price came back an hit his un-moved stop there was still a profit.

For anyone interested in a perspective; A few of my foundational reasons it was time to speculate to buying dips this week and last even though I was way late (should have tested entries inside the 2017gap zone):

The main reasons to think this was possible significant reversal was 1. price slowly took three weeks to descend from new lower high, and fill the 2017 gap(demand), 2. daily engulf bar(feb 21) left potential weekly reversal bar (pin/hammer), 3. then took 5 days(1/3 the time) to retrace over 70% of descent(significant change in direction/velocity of momentum), 4. this would lead to resolving/returning to top of last lower high and a potential monthly reversal bar and continuation...if...recent lower highs (supply) are broken.

Yes, price is everything. In forex a small change in price movement helps trader to earn profit or may cover his loss. Hedging is one of the example of price volatility and rapid change in price.
Timing always precedes price on the top of this market. IF you study economics with the news you would understand that. Understanding the times up to what time it is can be more critical than the spot, it's a buy or sell even if you had to buy the ask at a 2% (2%=200-pips) spread.
