Outlook for October
There are only 4 work days left for this month and therefore I can already share my thoughts for October..

- First: ignore the huge bearish gartley, that comes later!
- Overall, I am focusing on the AB=CD completion point at 1.1622 area.. This pattern is also in strong relation with a potential bullish gartley pattern. As long as market doesn't touch 1.1603, the gartley will be valid. Meaning: both AB=CD or Gartley have the potential to push price back up to fib 38.2 and 61.8 levels.. Therefore we have to begin to look for bullish signs whenever price makes a new low.. But no rush of course.. This is the monthly and therefore it probably will take time!
- Now.. that being said.. we first have to watch next week's fake dips.. there is a chance to buy lows around 1.1665.. As I mentioned on weekly, if next week's candle ends up bullish, it will be only temporary and price will probably drop again the week afterwards to test the deeper monthly levels at 1.1622..
- Therefore we must go step by step:
week 1 (upcoming week)-->Buy the dips towards 1.1665,
week 2-->Sell the spikes towards 1.1770,
week 3-->Buy the dips towards monthly AB=CD or Gartley: 1.1622 area (expecting that market shall not touch 1.1603)

Last week I was right a lot but many times I chickened out right before price turned my way.
That is what I got for entering too heavy too quick (overambitious and impatient)

On Thursday I was heavy long at the bottom of a down retr. But then it did another leg down, a few PiPs and I had doubts and reduced to only a small long when it resumed up. Overall I lost money.
On Friday I was up all Asia to position myself short. At times I was very heavy in, then another few up PiPs and I reduced the short. In the end I made good money, but far less then I could have.
I got right the general direction a lot but played heavy without the necessary conviction. Alternatively one can stick to small positions so that a few adverse PiPs don't dislodge you (and yet even then you can't get sloppy). But trading small will never give you large wins. Ambition, position sizing, handling adverse moves, and psycho-emotional factors will get you to screw up even if you get the direction right.
