Hi, Thanks for the thread Template contains ZB CLoudlines setting of 12,29,52 , while in intro it is written 12,25,52 . please confirm which is the correct setting for Tenken,kijun and Senkou. Regards

Good NY open nabbed a move down just after open for 50 ticks, then after pullback to near cloud and 50sma caught another 50 ticks down. Stayed away from Dow PA a little too jumpy for my taste.

The drives at the open make for the best trades. You should check out the dax at the London open as well if your time zone allows it.
Such a good day today. 1 loss 2 win. Supposed to be 1 BE and 2 win but i was not infront of my computer thats why there was a loss. Oh well, overall nice trades for today!

When price shifts fast , it is often away from first candle that closes below or above the SMA & ichimoku, do you guys enter with big stop loss in this case, or waits for retracements , or completely ignores the setup.

I (and RockyPoint) trade regular candles (deleted HA smoothed from the template) - I find it easier to see the price action and the actual position of price.

Indeed. Very few people know how to trade HA candles properly. Hint: It's not just about the change in colour.

This will mostly likely happen during big news moves like today's CPI in which case i would just ignore that setup. If it's at the US open, i would take the trade but with a larger than usual SL. But always be wary of such quick fake moves on the dow at the open, they can be hard to get right on some days.

do you trade only market open times to avoid fake outs or have more filters to avoid this situation?

The only filters i employ are supply and demand and then watching all 3 indices at once.
S/L for me is usually set at 40 ticks on YM and 20 on the ES. Also move S/L to B/E I hit $300 profit. Tp I do by feel.
Filter for me is ADX moving up above 35 and WPR moving above-50 long ,below -50 short, this is a work in progress. Tried MACD and RSI
also, but for whatever reason I am fond of thw WPR.
I try to wait to trade until at least a few minutes after open, if I'm seeing large candles and/or wicks I'll wait for thing to calm down.
I'll miss some trades but probably miss more losses. So trade from 9;30 till 11am the start looking again around 1pm.
