EDIT: EA was updated so that candleSize is read as pips not points, thnx mahomes for pointing this out.
ALSO, want to point out that the GBPUSD preset I used was just me messing around. Not everyone can invest $10K
. So test this using the higher TFs and
try out what lotsizes/balances the author indicates on pg 1.

Saw an EA already posted, took a look at the code and it has a couple of major errors. No offense to the coder, in general did a great job and I like the style of coding, but there are some errors that will affect the results.
So decided to make one me-self... LOL. Its is done. I took me two versions and making sure that I was adhering to the rules on pg 1.
Below are some screenshots with some info and a preset I was messing with.
The preset (download it and rename the extension from .set.txt to .set) is to run the GBPUSD on TF M15. The results you see are from May-July 2021. The backrest is not a show profitability, it just shows me that the EA is working (operation of approach, closeAll button, etc etc). Forward testing is the only way I consider any type of equity test curve valid. I LOOK forward to whomever forwards tests it and sees similar results. That will validate the EA preset performance to a high degree of probability.
NOTE: I will not be taking requests to add any features. The creator has provided more than enough to make this a successful approach. Nothing else is required. If there are any ERRORS please let me know, I will try to fix them as time allows.

Jess, What rule is determining when the basket closes? Is it a fixed dollar or a percentage. There does not appear to be an input to alter that parameter. Does it close at candle close only etc? The rules in post 1 is a fixed dollar amount: "Close all trades together when sum of all open profitable and losing trades (“basket“) is positive (may be 0.1$ or 1$)." Also looks like it is reading the candle size in points not pips. Thanks again for all your efforts. maahome
EA uses 10 cents for when closing all trades on losing "basket".

Later on I plan to release many of my EA source codes. Right now in order to keep things simple (believe me its already complicated LOL), I prefer not to distribute the source. But if you need any kind of function or special operation... I have so many libraries I have developed over the years and I am sure one can fit what someone may be looking for. That I can help with...
So for now enjoy the challenge of figuring out what best settings can make this DOS work. Well, based on what I have seen I think its a good solid approach on the daily. I do not have time to forward test this, so looking forward to see if anyone comes up with solid forward tested numbers.
Backtests don't really impress, as demon3 points in the backtest swaps (and several other things) are not included in the real sense, there are swaps values in the backtest but they tend to be static. The real result might have the trades close at a higher level cause the EA does count swap and commission, but that will only be known if one is forward testing it

If you buy an EA on the market then you wont receive the source code either in 99% of the cases so you also depend by that (which you should know as you are automated trader
.And if you buy a new car (e.g. Mercedes) then you will ask Mercedes as well to give you the program code for the car because you dont want to depend by them?
Just stay realistic please (or as suggested above, maybe code that EA by yourself or have it coded by someone).

I have some problems with your reaction:
- any decision is accepted, what's wrong with asking for some clarification? So one is sufficiently informed and can make his/her own choices?
- I did not demand anything, don't twist my words please.
- who tells you I would buy EA's without source code? I sure did not! the opposite is true, I wrote I would not like to be dependant on EA's without source code.
- the analogy with the car is wrong and twisted. Would you buy a new Mercedes if the garage tells you that a flat tire can only be fixed by them?
