Quick Weekly Outlook for Next Week

Since next week is a bridge from August to September, here are my quick thoughts:

  1. If bulls can break 1.1745 area the wedge will become obsolete and market could aim for creating a channel.. In such case next week's main resistance waiting for bulls would be at 1.1845 area roughly..
  2. If this week's closing price ends up inside the wedge a drop could be expected.. Maybe not all the way down to 1.1590 but I think 1.1690 area would be the nearest support area to get retested..
  3. Overall, as I mentioned today, I am watching how well 1.1775 will resist..

I wonder if anyone here trades pullbacks in possible fresh new trends.

A first like this since a long time! : a 1H pullback is almost ripe for one of my trend strats.

Bears needed a 1H close below 1744 support to break it before it was even born. Now it still has good enough momentum, although fragile while under 1800, is still worth it in the scope of my complementing strategies.

It can only be triggered if price goes back up enough ! But already we are very close. For this one, it needs to close above entry before end of day or Im out.

Buy stop 1.17642 dynamic SL starting at 1.17290 Potential, minimum 1800. Also, depending on what happens from now till tomorrows big news, might have to get out early.

Tomorrow is the major news, I remember from Aug 27 Last year we had a huge spike to 1.19 and then went down and back up again... it was a crazy day. I lost a bunch of pips that day ! I dont think i will trade tomorrow.... EURUSD was around the same range last year around these dates..... lets see what happens tomorrow.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

Depends though doesn't it, it's been hinted at for so long now it'd be a fair assumption to argue a lot of positions have already been priced in, the whole "buy the rumour, sell the fact" factor might trigger contrarian PA.
