Waiting for crossing my SMMA.
I use this setting (Period 8 and 3) and combine with elliot wave counting.
I use Sl 50 TP 150 after move 20 pips changed to Breakeven.


Sometimes i use other indicator and sometime no. SMMA is my main indactor. I use at H4, and last time i checked it using EA. Perfect for H4 (zero spread), and daily (floating spread).

Bulls 15m are being sneaky, not closing above any new highs of the day, yet making their way slowly to TiMBUkTU !

Until NY opening I don't think bulls will pass through H4 resistance: 1.1729... Give or take +6 pips: 1.1735 should be max for this long lasted 1st round... Let's see..

I am scalping sell a couple points below the low of this 15m. Now at 17224.

Little chance for bears to have their way a little bit, but here would be a good start, off this bulls slight misstep.

EU bulls showing some move, EU PMI numbers came out as red but still showing strong growth

Took sell positions at 1.17257 & 1.17286, more will be added if 1.1750 -70 area reached. SL & TP open

H4 candles closing above 1.1725 is highly suspicious!!! Very dangerous to sell at these levels without confirmation!!!!!

*Based on H1, I am marking 1.1710 as my nearest support! Also remember that 1.17135 is monthly support!

Sorry.. I won't sell today.. Only buying dips! Especially while price is above 1.1710! (...and on a side note, I am never interested in M1 and M5.. My chart analysis logic starts minimum with M15!)

Sorry mate, just had to finish another scalp sell...

I use various techniques dependent on many conditions.

What is necessary, in my experience, to master such strategies, is to do the work necessary : studying volatility based indicators throughout 1000s of occurrences of consistent enough outcome in +10 years of price movement.

A bit more info for anyone interested, and perhaps even this could open doors to whomever is willing to go the mile with it : This particular setup I got on the 15m:

Analysis of a good 45m of price interaction with keltner channel mainly widening, can accept one candle of tightening, in conjunction with at least 2-3 candles atr rising, candle high/lo break trigger.. ( many kinds of strats are possible, like with atr decreasing with this. But that is another story with completely different potential, variants and conditions ! )

Goes without saying that there is much much more to that for it to work consistently on the long-run, like the present price action throughout channel widening/tightening + Atr + latest and surrounding significant levels interactions probabilities, and more.
