I like this method and am now trading it live. Can anybody please tell me using MT4 how if it is possible to set up an alert so that I receive an email at the time of a cross of the RSI ?
Many thanks.

Quoting willfDislikedWhy would you need an alert?
If you are trading it the way it was intended you only need to place your trades once a day at the same time everyday.Ignored

Quoting stockwetDislikedActually, the method is susceptible to "mirages", so to speak. If you view your chart early, or a little too late, and there was a lot of price movement, then it's hard to tell whether a confirmed cross took place or not.
The expert has worked out great. I get an email when the bar closes, so, it checks immediately to see if there's a signal. I don't have to second guess my eyes. You can also turn live trading off and just use the EA for the alert, if you want.Ignored
Quoting stockwetDislikedLooks like we're missing some posts. I had at least two additional replies since the last post in this thread.Ignored
Quoting merlinDislikedsorry guys it sounds like you lost a couple posts while we moved to new servers. i hear we had a few problems with the move and this is most likely the reason.Ignored
Quoting stockwetDislikedSomeone had asked about an alert for the fozzy for 1h charts. I don't remember who and it was one of the posts that is missing.
The fozzy EA does support this. You need to modify some of the parameters, though. Change the "Use GMT 00" parameter to false. This way, the EA will check for signals on the close of a bar, allowing you to use it on a lower timeframe. I would set live trading to false for now. Also, set "Use BB Filter" to false. This will give you signals on all crosses. Finally, make sure the alert parameter is set to true. Place the EA on a 1h chart and it should work.Ignored
Quoting BeachBumDislikedTwo excellent posts that were lost yesterday came from Gee Seven explaining how he uses the fozzy method on 1 hour charts.
Do you still have what you wrote? And can you post again?
If not, I saved your posts before they disappeared and can post again if you like.Ignored
