Looking to reload shorts on EN.

Still on EA, but in DD.

Closed CJ may reload if drops lower then where I closed

the reason was ADR high however crude data coming up 10.30am if negative good for CAD

Its in the chart. How much EN EA moved VS how much EU moved.Difference is where the funds were directed.They were dumping AUD NZD and buying Euro however with 0% carry over value its unsuitable "parking fund" location hence correction are in order.You are not going to park 10million on Euro and pay -25% out every day to AUD.

I have to say i got ripped to peices last night

I was in 2 valid setups UC and EA

Being in the UK i even set my alarm to wake me up at 2.15am so i could check Aussie news, which was good so went back to bed as at that point PA looked ok to me

I guess this is just one of those things, I checked to see previous UC asia session moves and thought i was good but it really caught me

I think most of us are in DD atm, because CAD is sinking. I'm in 2-3% range. Manageable.

Also DXY its in a nice spot on R100, so USD could get weaker

Closed some losses EN EA. Part of trading.Moving on.
Market over reaction to Delta and less on Afghanistan obviously created a perfect storm.Commodity pairs got hit hardest.
I am certain correction are in order. Part of trading is managing your account.No system can do that for you.You do that for yourself.
Its a marathon not a sprint.

Currently long CJ at 8505

Note that Pivots fail when strong fundamentals are at play.They work majority of times but do fail at times like this.Markets tend to overreact its the factor of fear.
I am certain part of it is clearing stops.

I also took some considerable losses on EA EN.
That move on EA EN during overnight (on my timezone) caught me on surprise, I don't have a fixed SL, so the losses passed my loss tolerance.
In order to avoid be caught off guard again I am considering to lower my lot size and maybe partially hedge my positions during overnight, especially on non-commodity pairs, but is just a thought for now.
