Look at this nice head and shoulder patern.
If it breaks we could go much lower to 1.1430 .

The trend is still down .

Good day mates,

Today was my relaxing day...

Continued my buying of USD, but mainly tiny scalps appearing around the hours... Todays non-scalps were at 38 and 32 only, no crazyness like yesterday !

I stopped for anymore than scalps since I need my positions to be as far as possible by the time we get the big news (two days in a row)...

Last trade non scalp of the day just got triggered, from a Sell stop 17225

Hope to have my first larger than 4H atr TP of the week soon , one I could actually share yesterday, this one :

It's at 1.17210 but no clear break of a downward trend.
At what point will it make sense to start going Long?

Plenty are buying. Just depends on each traders plans and strategies. For me, volatility downwards from 2H to 1D is strong so cannot go long for more than +-15 pips...

You have a problem with bears ? Kidding Cheers mate !

Would not be surprised, we are at the bottom of the W range for me still. Though slightly shifted downwards, not enough for it to call it a break down on the longest term, meaning a reversal and a good trend back up to above .20s sure is possible.

And I hope you are right, for I love good subsequent swings!

Meanwhile... price is steadily going down with no comparable moves up, for almost 100 trading hours. Excited to see how long this powerful downtrend will last.

I've only been selling today, careful few-pip trades most of the time with a few nice longer ones. Now the volumes have dropped and bulls have already shown hints of revolt against the bears' reign. Thus no more selling nor buying for the rest of the trading day.

Bulls have to break back above 1.1720.. Otherwise maybe a further drop to 1.1702-1.1695...

But let's stick to 1.1713 support first.. day is not over yet..

Quick Daily Sweet Spots for Tomorrow

  1. Tomorrow we might or might not face bearish spikes towards 1.1688 but overall I see bear power slowly getting exhausted while gliding down inside this major wedge!
  2. 1.1745/55 area is my nearest resistance area for tomorrow...
  3. Environment is still heavily bearish, BUT for now I keep watching if monthly support 1.1713 will do its job or not! Don't risk too much whenever buying dips! For now, we only want to test waters!

The bouncing around in this zone is not good, depending on what happens overnight, a drop to 1.16900 could be on the cards tomorrow.
