4 system races to trade for me today. Not bad for a Friday. Lots of NRs mind you, which is a pain.

A few EWs spread through and not going to list them all, however two of more-than-average interest are:

3:00 Brighton Bezzas Lad 16.0 / 3.95 and...

4:20 Muss Three Saints Bay 40.0 / 7.0

Three saints bay, it has to be said, though talented, is a bit of a nut job, having the tendency to suddenly decide it's going to go off and do something more interesting instead while running up to the finish line. So, purely spec but at those odds? Why not.

Was just looking at Muss - think we've seen the last of William ?

Reason I went quiet is GP sent me in for an ultrasound scan. Not a pleasant experience but all clear.

MRI, CT, PET...been there, worn all the t-shirts. CT last week, in fact. You get used to them, lol.

Thank you. So that sounds like to me that you trade very much at your own discretion without a set in stone kind a daily routine.

That is certainly not a bad thing if you have experience and know what you are doing. You are surely more flexible that way. For me currently that simply leaves too much room open for disaster. Without exactly knowing what my entry/exit is at what time of the day for what market.

It would then lead to me skipping and scrolling aimless through the chart or even start looking for different markets. All gone through already. Not a way for me.

However i have no idea if trading that one market like the GBP/USD currency pair for that one setup like the BillyBar at the UK open is really enough for me to reach my goals, some say yes, some say no. I have no idea of who to listen to. I think trying to make a 5 Pips a day on average is not something rated too unrealistic.

There is normally a daily volatility of at least seeing price moving for a 50-70 Pips. For sure if you then getting constantly whipsawed to death and having taken out your stop 10 times in a row before you ever reached your 5 Pips target you easily end up -50-70 Pips then before the day even really started.

So i would really highly appreciate a strategy/plan where my entries and exits, risk and money management is at pre-defined as it gets as long as i am not seeing some longer term consistent profitable results for my self and what i am doing. And no, i don't want to be spoon fed.

I am trying to find a way here for over a year already again. Somehow i might be either not able to build such plan for myself or what i am trying to find does not exit in that form. Or maybe it just takes another 10 years or so

In brief. Gone through the BillyBar setup for July.

First break reaching target (5 Pips) were 16 days out of 22 (72,73%). Compared to June where i counted a 63,63% success rate.

For the second opposite break reaching target of 5 Pips after the first failed it gave a 100% (6/6).

On a pure risk/reward ratio after doing 1 entry and shut down for the day after that. The wins could have been +80 Pips while all losing entries accumulated to a total of -86 Pips where SL would have been the opposite end of the range high/low. Not even including trading fees, so that way it would have probably been a net loss by the end of the month.

Posted my full stats for July at my thread for anyone might be interested.
