Moving on, from Laurel Canyon and LA, but here are some other artists that were from the area & era.
JamesTaylor, Canned Heat, Carole King, Poco
(and I won't venture up to San Francisco & the Bay Area, though they had their 'immortals' as well).
But New York,
, they had their moment too in the 60s as well, starting with Andy Worhol, Lou Reed, Nico, John Cale, & The Velvet Underground.
