Luckily no, although my hands are numb from all the sitting on them. Managed a few quick in-n-outs and up for the day, that'll do me.

I am on side lines for now.. but bulls have the upper hand for sure!

1.1814 is nearest buy area for now! No rush!

Now we must think: Only 2 days left until monthly candle closes!

  1. Best scenario for bulls is to keep price above 1.1831 before monthly candle close..
  2. "Meh!" scenario for bulls is to keep it at least above 1.1800 to keep hopes!
  3. Best scenario for bears: Inside these two days price drops back below 1.1795!

I think one of the first two will play out.. Let's see..

I just finished listening to Powell talk about the FED's decision.

This was the 1st time that I heard someone CLEARLY explain the difference between transitory and persistent inflation.

My read on this was:

Fed will agree to talk at September in Jackson Wyoming

Fed will agree to talk about taping at the October meeting

Earliest Fed would consider hiking is January 2022.

My bottom line on this is : RISK ON!

I can already share important DAILY s/r levels for tomorrow: 1.1846 is key resistance and that's exactly where we are right now! I would say: be careful bulls.. no need for greed!

The only obstacle i see sits at 1.1870-1.18800. lets see how price reacts there

My updated 4H view (Image 1):

I bought at 1.1775 because 1.1785 was where the "support line" was (arrow 1), and 10 pips is usually the size of a stop hunt and it happened to be a support line I drew from price before it made its first bullish move (arrow 2). Luckily I got in at the perfect time and I was right.

We broke both of the resistances I have drawn and hopefully we close above them. Todays price action has made my long term bias bullish for a very long time.

Previous FOMC we crashed from 1.21 to now, let's see if this FOMC will create the new up trend to go back above those prices. We definitely had enough of a "accumulation" period (highlighted) for smart money to enter at a reasonable position (arrow 3)

Image 2 Daily: I believe that we just had an accumulation period for longs. This is a common pattern.

Image 3 Monthly: I was originally thinking there is a good chance we may drop as low as 1.15, but it's just too big of a move for price to go back up in my opinion. I think "Market Makers" can only do so much to fake price movement before the real move occurs and that black horizontal line I have drawn is key for bulls.

Because I believe that:

1.) Monthly wants to go up
2.) The last FOMC had a HUGE drop
3.) Daily PA seemingly "accumulating" below the support

My long term bias is officially bullish to 1.25-1.35. I will be taking trades according to this main bias and price must stay above 1.17908 for me to keep this bias.

If price drops back below 1.1818 area, market could act as if this FOMC turmoil never happened.. Just thinking out loud!

I am calling it day folks.. Thanks to all who collaborated

This has normally a wonderful range to drop BUT because retail is always blindly selling at these highs thinking it MUST drop only helps smart money to push price higher.. That's how they trick retail each and every time.. Beware!

I rode my long trade from 1.18139 to 1.18476, just a 0.1 lot size albeit for nice USD 33.70.
Wish I could have hopped in @ 1.178x's, but... PA was just there and back in a weird manner, kind of too hazardous to mess with.

Just speculating on the type of monthly candle that will be formed this month. Its either we have a bullish hammer going all the way to 1.19840 or we simply have a bullish doji both indicating trend reversal to the upside. Time will tell

I missed my buy entry by a few pips but eventually got in about 10 pips late. Took profit around 18350 area. My first post FOMC order didn't go well though. Took a 25 pip hit on that one.

Moving on. Have a buy order waiting at 1.18200 targeting 1.18850 area. SL: open

I also have an active sell order from 1.18450 targeting 12+ pips (yeh yeh i'm greedy !!!).
