Key word being "reliable", I wouldn't do any others at this point in time. My 3rd is the 5%ers summer plan, which is no longer available.

Market has been a bit dodgy lately i see so many people bitching about all the firms and them breaking rules and shit.

I don't actually see how anyone can break the rules of most of the firms without being a bad trader tbh or having quite possibly the worst run of their life. I dno, just finding that all the groups im browsing are whining about rules now.

Yes, I failed my first FTMO last June, simply because I had a huge day, closed my winners and rolled the losers into the next day and immediately violated daily DD, account was actually up 5% at the time. I also publicly failed a 5%ers standard account, in a public competition, thinking I could beat the obvious math everyone was telling me about. This is one of the reasons I am so passionate against those type of models, not because I failed ,but because I lived the math real time.

Other than that, I completely agree. My max DD on my last passed 100K (phase 2) with MFF was 1.37%. Not because I am a great trader, it's truly all about risk management. Perhaps my poker background helps with this, I mean if I have a 10K roll to play poker, I am sitting at a max buy in table of $200. In trading, your bankroll is your DD (100% in your own account, 5,10,12% in a prop account), so what should you sit at the table (risk per trade) with?

My post was more about the guys who are whining about it. I have failed an FTMO account as well, its entirely possible to do but whining about it generally means the person doesn't know what they are doing as they are unable to fix their mistakes.

Anyone who has gambled at the casino knows the importance of money management. You said it correctly, "your br is your dd".

Gambler pays $300 for a 12% of $50k dd for br.

Divide the 12% br into 20 parts risking 5% per hand for flat betting strategy with a 1:2 payout.

For x steps negative progression(martingale) strategy, calculate the bet size for each marty step.

I translated Forex trading into casino gambling mindset. There are both the same. The difference with prop firm is the trader gets to buy in 12% br paying for a fraction(5%) of it.

On Wednesday morning I got an email from MFF, they where offering to pay me out and scale me up a level early, if I would like that....
How can I say no

That's awesome. Yes, I have a great feeling about them as well. I believe they are executing our trades and looking for good traders.

This guy, I know him personally.

He has 2x100 k MFF + 3 X 100K FT + 1 X 100K FTMO accounts.

He is a master class and he lives in a place wherin I am living currently.

Hi Garfield, I did not ask a reason and they did not give me one but I assume it should be the fact that I made more
than 10% in about 10days, of course always very conservatively. My goal is never to cross 50% of the allowed daily draw down.

Navk, we've got to get our act together. All of us aspiring millionaires!

When you think about it, It's a profit of around 17k. The ridiculous thing is that one can conceivably almost make that in just a few hours. But you have to eliminate the fear (so easy!!) and have a decent technical chart, read candles properly, and a good understanding of the particular commodity one is trading. I like trading Gold and I know it's intricacies and how it moves and usually the targets. Yet I'm still picking off scalps instead of trading the trend. Like most of us I think!

Take yesterday as an example. If one sold 5 lots at 1808.50 TP 1791.50 - then bought 5 lots at 1791.50 TP 1803.50
That is 2900 pips or points giving a profit of around $15000. In just a few hours!

The money is there - but in forex you really do have to keep holding - very often gonna get the full 5 cards

I do not trade gold but my wife trades gold.

I trade only GU. Only.

I know how GU moves, predictable.

It follows a cycle every 3 days or some times more days.

I follow daily, 4hr support or resistance as basis of my trades.

I could see that GU has formed " some sort " of resistance at 3787.

Will be able to confirm if that is the daily resistance for this new cycle, I can do this on Monday open. The weakness persists ...but i want to see a real resiatnce at 3787.

Once that is confirmed....all the way...100 pips down.

If you confirm daily support or resistance, in whatever instrument you trade... that day will yield good result.

This is how I like to trade... but at times scalp for small which is not a good practice.

As for gold is concerned, I see an end of sell wave which started on 16 th july. This cycle seems to be over on Friday.

Daily support has formed ? Not yet to me.

I can see this only on monday open.

Possibly, 1789. is low for this sell cycle.

Look at first day when selling cycle started.

Short from 1826...all the way down to 1796.

Can you hold for such period ? 2 days ?

The yield is 300 pips.
