Lesson Learned :

June contest was tough , market was unbeleivable!!!

I started working on 7 jun like other competitors , I started with a little high lots and small steps, and the market went against me like all other competitors who are using SL and BL orders.
one of the good things that I used is to stop opening new orders when Equity/Balance is Less that 60%. This was very helpful , at least I didn't get the margin call.

Also , one of the helpful things , after 15 Jun , I start using BS and SS , when the price is near to the monthly top ,or monthly bottom , this also helped and made some profits.
When the market retracts and goes back for my advantage I end up with small profits.
my future plans , to make calibration for Step , and Lot size , taking into consideration that step( D ) for each pair may be different , I will try to use the monthly average range into my calculations.

Despite deprive status , I see performance is improving in my opinion.

edit: I will continue with this account , as I think my strategy is long term one , one month will not be fair to judge on this , so next month Inshallah I will update
for july I will use new account so I can keep the old one running.

any way I hope best of luck to all my brothers in the contest for future months.

FIRST OF all thanks to Macd-rsi to making me one of his Buddies.

what i learned from June market?

 

  1. Everyone in this market who used the MCP correctly ,may have won this month. Less profit but stable and stress-free results
  2. In high volatility markets, we must be able to predict market volatility before it occurs. We can do this by checking the news.
  3. In the event of a market fluctuation, excitement should be avoided and the expert should be given the opportunity to work.
  4. The best strategy to compensate for the loss or prevent the account from being destroyed is not to close orders at a loss.
    Instead, we have to place orders when market returns in the direction of the market in the form of stop buy or stop sell with a distance of about 50 pips from the daily reference price in order to earn a terrible profit when the market returns.
  5. To precautionary measures, you can send stop orders at least 50 or 60 pips away with a reference price that is calculated daily.

Is easy to add another demo account from the MT4 platform. Just delete the old demo accounts u no longer need.

strange,i checked 1 minute and 5 minute time frame,im still in reward status,what calibrated balance you use in testing? coz i start June contest on 6200 equity

I have make a test on 5 min timeframe and you was at reward status, then for accurate review i have tested the account on 1 min timeframe and the account show that you have big DD at certain time that make you at deprivative status as you can see in the picture

May another mate do the test with 1 min timeframe , also when Mohammed back sure he will make another test.

The EA calculate it automatically.. it has said many times already Macd-RSI..

because if you setup .. 6200 Dollars.. and you goes 2400 dollars in DD.. you are only 20% in DD.. but our start balance for the contest is 5000.. also you are not in DD 20% but 48% in the reality..

the EA is smart enough.. to calculate it automatically.. we have to setup .. 5k as starting balance.. I started too with 6800 dollars.. than I have only DD of 10-15% but correlated to the 5k starting capital.. isnt the true..

I hope I have explained it .. that you can understand.. how I said.. the EA is smart enough.. to calculate it automatically..
