Hitting the sell button at 1600 pm frankfurt time with stop 10 pips and profit 20 to 30 pips would have brought 4 winning days

I assume market will close like this and here are my H4 S/R levels for next week's Asian session..

  1. If bear momentum keeps going 1.1929 will eventually break and next stop would be 1.1893 area..
  2. If bulls kick in and kill bear momentum 1.1955 will get retested and if that breaks next stop would be 1.1973 area..
  3. If nothing happens I assume this blue-red range will narrow and narrow until we see some breakout..

That's all folks since I like to keep it simple..

Just a correlation of the DXY daily, is it a head and shoulders or cup and handle? My two cents are dollar drops causing the eur to go long. Gold on the daily is flat with a small gain.

im not seeing that on my charts - it’s just that same 15 minute bar.

my broker didn't show any gap on FOMC meeting last week.

Others who have posted their charts here also have gaps, yes this may vary by broker.

Every broker shows a gap on FOMC meeting last week: for Oanda it's 1.21136 - 1.21117 = 1.9 pips, while for FBS it's 10 times bigger 1.21121 - 1.20932 = 18.9 pips...instead it's called wide spread...

Ultimately we have to trade what we see.

I use Sierra Charts for charting and it comes with free FX data from FXCM.

My chart does not show an actual gap. It does, however, show a Wide Range Body (WRB) HiddenGAP. To be clear, it's not a HiddenGAP simply because the interval is wide, it's a HiddenGAP because the interval immediately after the WRB does not share a tick with the interval immediately before to the WRB.

It's in DXY.

Gaps in general created during market opening in a week or day.

Don't expect it must get filled within the week or so. Many cases it'll take months.
But when the price is near the gap i. e ATR or 65pips, then you can expect that it's going to fill the gap.
Remember gap should be 25 or 30 pips above for eurusd. Otherwise it won't be significant to the market.

A close below 50 ma and weekly trendline forecast a drop around 1850 first, but a close above them and a take out of the weekly high (1975) see a short squeeze for the EU.
