Yesterday the market was fierce and Its moves were high and fast before and after the Fed meeting.

What I've learned is that we have to accept some losses because the market may move against our expectations and analysis, especially in News times, so I think we should add a feature that protects us from those moves.

Good luck to the rest of the members to win the competition and to install their steps in the trading's world.

Yah tough week with major DD almost lost the account. Tried a BSSS strategy today in the hope of recovering something. OD10J TP 50. Managed +4.5% in 7 hours. Could be just luck but worth looking into.
some important points
this month i used this setting together :

  1. o=d=25 , lot 0.01 , LL = 1 , TO = 3 and i think TP = 100. 28 pair . SL & BL . daily price reference
  2. o = 60 , lot 0.05 , TO = 1 , TP = 30. 28 pair . SL & BL . daily price reference
  3. o = d = 25 , lots 0.02 , to = 1. tp = 15 , SEC pairs , SS & BS , weekly price reference.


i didn't analyzed market before contest.
and i didnt set SL for any orders.

with this setting, i am in danger. and now i'm in -2700 p/l.

i just want to say, the advantage of this EA is to preventing from losing your account in worst conditions.

Hi Mohammed,

I was thinking of a feature that could help us avoid account sinking if one or more pairs go beyond their expectations, and I think adding a stop loss feature to Mira feature in Smart TP&SL system would help us avoid the risk.
So that the expert stops the pair or the direction from trading and closes all it's orders if it's loss on the account exceeds a certain percentage and so we have protected the account and also the expert continues to profit from other pairs.

I suggested the feature earlier.. a few weeks ago.. if we can add a feature like MCP so when desired points passed.. it reverts the direction of the pair.. if it was sale then now it puts orders of buying.. like that.

Brother, no need to that. MCP is the best tool for risk management. in the April contest, i hold MCP above 1000. And i got 1400$ profit. But, i tested. When u dont care to MCP and it's comming down, you may be loss your account.

Hi, pls read post #8151 to understand how "LOVERN TS-DIS" and "TTP" function work. You have activated "LOVERN" function which is a delay or displacement by certain values before "TTP" is triggered

Oh Man,,,

Brothers, I like to believe that its just the Psychological mind-set of the contest that blow up my account so fast. Then again, after re-analyzing why I blow up my account, I think I was too impatient to increase my P/L with large lot size trading without really looking into protecting my account. I only use basic setting, I did not use any safety functions/ risk management that the EA provides but was just aiming to double fold my P/L in shortest time as possible. My plan obesely did not work but I think I hold the cup for the 1st one to blow up account balance.

With only $100 in the account balance, I was also trying to trade to see if its possible to build P/L by juts only trading 2 pairs with small account balance but even this failed as too many SL being hit. I just need to find the setting to balance my trade in a linear fashion and not trading all 28 pairs. That may just work fine...

Has anyone tried using all 4, BL,BS, SL & SS to manage the trade...could you please share your outcome on your trades...
