closed a long from early this morning 1860 to 1915 and just took a short @ 1915 which immediately went green and makes me smile.

I don't understand why Lagarde still expects the USD to strengthen for recovery in the EU region

Her Target for the EURO is 1.15 - 1.20.

It's a reasonable price zone. But next year or so it'll go higher above 1.25.

FED is speaking to raise rates, Lagarde thinks even lower them if, needed! The two economies are in a clear divergence, what someone else might expect is another story! Serious.

Tuesday candle just opened... I have 1.1915/40 area as main resistance for today.. I think bulls will keep pushing BUT just be a little more careful with longs each time price is at or above 1.1915!

*It looks like the wave 4 of 3 but not the real wave 4.. So I still suggest that deeper lows are coming soon..

Yeah, I did take the opportunity. On Monday I didn't find anything, but on Tuesday I found a great chance to enter a short, added an additional position after the FED announcement as well.
I'm no longer in the trade though, the move was very sudden, perhaps a bit more compared to what i expected to happen (within a week) so as a result I closed it this morning when i saw increased interest in long positions. It was still a pretty solid catch!

On top of that the market perfectly bounced of a dynamic support on the Daily Timeframe on Friday, which could have been a great place to set a TP.


I definetly agree with you on this, as stated already in this post, I believe that the market has overreacted to the development of events. Remember, the FED has still not made any significant changes to it's monetary policy even though there are strong inflanatory pressures coming from all over the place.


From a technical analysis perspective I can clearly see your point, but I believe that the DXY will bounce back down from around this area. EURUSD should hold above 1.18. Even if we look at it from a technical perspective. Put an exponential moving average OHLC method with a period of 264ish, and you will clearly see that it "holds", it even held now, and it is around 1.18... if we were to break this only in such a scenario would i consider a drop to those levels (speaking from a techincal analysis perspective on monthly timeframe)

Also, quantitative analysis doesn't back up such a large drop in EURUSD; it says quite the opposite, it says that in the long term EURUSD is STILL bullish, but it may be bearish on a daily scale. After today EURUSD has bounced from a critical level, and it seems that DXY has gone back under the 50MA that you talked about earlier, so this backs up the story that we might not be heading for such a move down.

On top of all this the COT report has also shown an increase in long positions over the last week with large investors (while small increased shorts).

Due to this I'll have to disagree with you on it going that low, but I may be wrong, so we will see what happens. I'm open to all options and trust me man, I'll be the first one to switch to long term bearish camp if i get more to back it up from macrodata as well as math.

I'm very careful with EURUSD shorts currently, if the situation was different I would not have closed my position today but would have likely kept it for a much longer time. I'm also careful with EURUSD longs, because currently I'm getting a short short term trend and a long long term trend... A lot could happen, but for me a continuation of the bullish trend in the long term is very likely.

if the price goes up then the market creates sideways ... and then the market will count more buyers or sellers in the market, both in quantity and quality, of course open buys or sellers from retail are calculated .... so there is a 50% posibility: 50 % or unpredicted .... so in sideways market, if retail dominant "sell position" then price will go up .......... if retail dominant "buy position" the price will be go down ... and no one smart money care about retail , and then smart money tier 1 will hand it over to the herd to process prices by manipulation .... so always remember that "if price movements are predictable then all brokers and liquidity providers will go bankrupt" ... so be patient, carefully , no emotionn .... so there are 2 scenarios now.... according to tf h1 down = buying, according to tf h4 = selling .... both scenarios are possible depending on "dominant retail order" .... and the herd will always provoke fear and greedy retail ..... to always open positions ... then cut the loss ... until the sideways process is complete .... this process is the process of make MC retail account because 90% of retail must lose every time ....... this can be proven "if retail does not open a position then the price will tend to flatten and move slowly" ...... ... then why " all that can happen and be monitored properly .... because the account manager who works at your broker always monitors all your trading activities with the software

Based on H4:

1. My main bias (75%): As long as 1.1894 area supports bulls will try to break 1.19135 area..
2. My secondary bias (25%): IF 1.1894 can't support, next support would be 1.1876....and if that breaks we could go back to 1.1835 levels..

My two cents

This is reasonable. I have no intentions whatsoever to trade this. Makes no sense. It is just like a lottery. Oh sure, one can do the hard work scalping the range, and sweating each time PA makes a bad move. You can even make a nice profit doing that. Provided you manage to keep the ratio of small victories and oftentimes inevitable bigger loss in your favor. But I will stay on sidelines until this gets resolved.

1.1919 is a target for longs if it is going to range ( 1.1919 = usa close )

i have a short signal but it is now in a demand zone (m15) so i wont take it

below 1.1880 it is a short, (end demand zone=1.1882) going for the second green demand zone starting 1.1858
