If that real money doesn't affect you at all. You just assume that the money goes to fight in vegas and it will be fine. If not, how are you confident?

I read somewhere about using EA. You need to monitor it by yourself, when and where, it's depend on your situation. Mine, after using almost 2 weeks, real profit. I don't want to share screenshot here because I still not archive my target. There is a trick using this one and the most important is, be patient and also don't let your emotion controlling you. You need to use your own strategy/setting with every kind of EA you use.

Edit: Here is my screenshot, even I still not archive my target, but at least I share something rather than talk. As I said, use your own setting or strategy how you want this EA work for you.

Hi all, happy to see how this thread is growing.
I have been forward-testing Icarus for the past month or so, trying to see how a regular payout strategy would work-out. Did not have time to catch up on Robin's development : if I understand correctly, Robin is with-the-trend while Icarus is against-the-trend, right?

Also, it feels like Icarus is actually able to survive with multiple instruments at once: my objective is to
- constantly have low capital on account to avoid losing too much when the doomsday comes (such as earlier this week with FOMC announcements, which could have been avoided if I was aware of the red news coming)
- have multiple instruments to raise capital fast and withdraw regularly to secure profit and reduce at-risk equity
- have multiple instruments to generate balance in case one of the instruments is going downhill, the others (if weakly correlated) might help adding up to the balance and get out of the situation.

I plan on forward-testing both Icarus (which I optimized using StrategyTester) and Robin; are Robin's latest version's default settings okay to start @TeChaoLiang?

The different is I fix the bug so that Robin won't loss a position that should be hedged and won't put an unnecessary hedging position. Since there is a new 2.6 version, you can forget all the previous version.

As I mentioned before, never rely or believe my default settings. The default settings is for the purpose of testing my EA logic. For different symbols you have to find a better settings for you. If you like to use indicators trigger, setup what you like, and tune the multiplier of ATR to find a better multiplier. It is important to grid trading to have a appropriate grid size, not too large and not too small.
It's really very fun to follow each post about this ea grid. All contributions are very supportive. Those who have done the test on = real account share the test results so that everyone can enjoy it. Thank you for all. Regards, profits for all of us..

I never encounter such a problem like this. message shows that CoG.ex4 is loaded successfully but the CoG indicator has run time errors when it try to move the 5 COG lines to the chart. CoG indicator is not code by me, so I cannot answers your question.
Try to find another ex4 file of CoG and rename it to Center Of Gravity.ex4 to replace the ex4 file may solve the problem.

if i remember well we could set robin to pickup trades either from manual entry (mn=0) of a another ea (mn=1234) is that correct, and how, please?

No, in the old version Robin you can set max positions to 0 to force EA into Alert Yellow mode. The newer version of Robin you can entry your trade from the buttons directly.

have anyone tried with icarus 3.2 this:
put the ea default setting in all 28 pairs.
put in another chart (xauusd?) an equity handler
when the profit of the magic number reach for example
30,40,50 eur you close all positions and restart again.
