Strange After my recent post about Fibonacci ratios, this same guy came to me yesterday and spammed my private inbox about how ridiculous Fibonacci ratios are and tried to convince me that relying on Fibonacci ratios is a stupid thing. He even send me a link to a cheap click bait site where somebody claimed he had statistically analyzed Fibonacci and had found that they were not reliable. When I asked him to send me some scientific proof which is published in high impact scientific journals he gave up and stopped. I don't know why is he still reading this thread if he thinks Fibonacci ratios are just a series of random numbers?

On the topic of numerical law's I watched a documentary recently on Bendford's law. You can see how almost numbers in everything abide by this law(finances, populations, even volcano sizes). Auditors use it to detect fraud in data. The universe will always abide by certain law's, even if they seem random- they are not! Really interesting stuff. Fibonacci's will always have significance in FX, since there will always be a battle between buyers and sellers on every level. Basically what I'm trying to say that randomness is a planned construct of the universe, so take from it what you will. Just a cool weekend thought

Exactly I used to believe that they were just random and how a series of numbers which were discovered to be correlated with rabbits' population can be related to markets. But evidence cannot be ignored. We don't know why yet but the correlation of Fibonacci ratios with certain events are far from random.

I found a reliable resource which is published in a valid journal not some cheap blog post. The article is published in Annals of Economics and Finance which is indexed in Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Scopus, ABI/INFORM, and EconLit.
Whenever some haters, nonbeliever, or simply jealous guys come to you and try to question what Davit or other great minds here have done simply ignore them but if you want you can point them to the attached article as an alternative.

I think US is ready to move past covid-19. Another point is that statistical data in US is valid and reliable compared to some deceiving countries like China. So saying it is the worst cannot be accurate.

There was an interesting PM regarding COT report.Is it important?
Obviously there are many ways to trade and I am not going to say I am correct or my way is best but I can share what I think based on 10yr experience trading forex.
COT report,Volume are things that are not substantive to base trading decisions because it takes only one or two major bank to wipe out all Cot positions in fact often is the case more small fish buying opposite prices get pushed.You can think of smart money VS damn money
What you should focus is Pivots Price Events

Pivots=structure of the market often corresponding support and resistance levels
Price=encompassing sentiment.One can learn great deal by just watching prices move.Where it stops where it ranges etc.Did not mention price action since I believe its over played idea.One should be able to make money even with line price without any candles.Dont ask me why I think so its just something I noticed over the years...
Events=The engine behind the market.Pay attention to it.You'll learn more from events reactions then from books.



Well no magic formula.Everything comes down to paying attention.

When you hear a great pianist playing you get carried away thinking he/she has tremendous talent....maybe so but what you dont see years and years of practicing as much as 8-10hrs every day.Well I had weeks that I slept 3-4 hrs a night because I wanted to be up on key events and wanted to make money and have done this often and still do.Too much effort? You bet but that's what it takes commitment to succeed

thank you my friends, i feel the same way, i haven't slept well for many years, very exhausting and always plagued by nightmares, i'm happy when it changes again. I wanted to stop but I notice that it is developing well, I notice that I am learning and I see a lot more relaxed.

Just some food for thought regarding the Angleator,

(13/34=0.382)- By default

Then you tried 8 on the TDI.

(8/34=0.235)

And you said that 23.6 does not have any meaning, why then go from 13 to 8 period?
The only reason I can see was to catch the move early, hence the 8 period on the TDI.
The draw back was that the Angleator will cycle through "price action" to fast. ( uptrend, down trend ,uptrend, down trend....) If one would change from 13 to 8 period.
Instead one must get price action on the Angleator to respond quicker BUT keep the uptrend or down trend(above 50 or below 50) according to market conditions?
You said way back that its time to leave the Angleator behind and trade without it, you where loosing to much pips.

Please, I'm not attacking you, just sharing my thoughts on something great.

THE QUESTION WOULD BE HOW DOES ONE CHANGE PRICE ACTIONS RESPONSE (ON THE ANGLEATOR) AND NOT THE TREND?

PLEASE DO NOT THINK I WANT TO RE-INVENT OUR WAY OF TRADING.

Maybe you could add them twice one at 8 period and one at 13 period

That would keep the above 50 and also give you the earlier entry maybe
