As a suggestion, you may want to take a look at EN (inverse of NF).
You trade EUR with less risk and costs. Optimize your trading.

Also, we don't have much going on for NZD or CHF this week that may cause some volatility.
But for EUR yes, and we may take advantage of.

Nice catch R61. I sold AUD in EA somehow similar to yours. Sorry I cannot post the chart because I had to transfer my account and this one doesn't support MT4 so from now on I analyze in MT4 and take real positions in another platform.

Just an observation
Since CAD is severely overbought cross the board you only want to go long on AC on drops.Don't short AC
Same way I dont short UC only longs in fact all my CAD pairs are against the CAD and it will be until CAD finds equilibrium among other pairs.
Certain pairs I trade one way only until I feel comfortable otherwise. Another Example EU I only short this pair now.

Thanks a lot. Now I see how shallow and simplistic my understanding is compared to yours. I try to add that to my analysis. Honestly my mind is overloaded now because I've been trying to learn fundamental analysis and it's really frustrating.

Hey Davit, Glad to see you posting again! Here's my week so far...

I've still been bullish on CDN pairs due to WTI increases. Even after Iran sanctions were removed today it still feels like demand for oil will be high since the world is getting back to normal- slowly. WTI seems to be struggling around 70 atm. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on trending WTI vs overbought CDN if that's alright. (Or anyone else's thoughts/opinions)

Hi, Pivoteers. As I continue my studying an interesting concept is forming in my mind. I like to share it here. I don't know it's true but the more I absorb knowledge the more convincing the concept is becoming. From the little knowledge I've absorbed so far I've come to the conclusion that all we do as traders is finding anomalies and trying to position ourselves towards the norm or equilibrium. The interesting point is that we do it in all kinds of analysis technical or fundamental. Anything which is far from normal can be considered as an opportunity because nature is somehow likes it. It hates chaos and whenever something is going out of the boundaries of normal behavior forces of nature push it back.
If the price goes far from the pivot it comes back
If the price goes more than its average ADR it comes back
If the inflation, unemployment, growth are far from the average rates something will happen soon to get them back to normal
Everything is about being normal and evading chaos.
I'm fascinated by the accuracy of Fibonacci numbers. I know the relationship between these numbers and price reversals is considered as correlation but something is telling me that what if the relationship is cause and effect. I know it sounds silly and there are lots of fundamental factors behind the price but what if the world is made in a way that these factors happen at certain times. Fibonacci numbers seem random but evidence shows otherwise but why are a set of numbers highly correlated to certain behaviors?

What would you say your overall average pip count per individual trade is from this strategy, just a rough estimate

I used to hold trades longer 50-70pips average but market has changed as you noticed its ranging in small waves so I get out 20-30 pips at times 15pips then get right back on dips and rallies on same pairs example UC I've been buying it just about every-time it dropped below 21
We must adapt to new conditions what was 2yrs ago its no longer valid.Market changes and must change with it.

Thats what i thought, i noticed you are closing trades earlier than a while back

I also have had the best results and also least drawdown when closing trades around the 15-20 pip range in the last 6 months, my main losses are when i think i see others holding trades for longer periods of time so i think i should be doing the same

Now for a glass of red and watching the football

There is more to it and I covered this here many times.
Its not about how many pips but size of the position. When I think its not going to move much I increase position size so 10pips at 3lots example is roughly 550 dollars but if I am shooting longer pips I reduce position to 2lots or less.Idea is aiming certain number irregardless of pip distance.
Hope this helps why to me its pointless how long you hold.Its the weight of the position that counts.
