Confluence Trading Method

Welcome traders !!
This strategy requires a foundational grasp of Supply Demand zone concepts, Support and Resistance, Fibonacci levels, False Breakouts & Price Action.

Chart Structure:
• Price Action.
• Supply or Demand zone (SD)
• Support & Resistance (SR)
• False Breakout (FB)

Confluence Factors:
• Price Action Patterns.
• Fibonacci levels (Fib) 38.2 / 50 / 61.8 / 76.4.
• Trend line (TL) and chart patterns.
• Oscillator Divergence (RSI / Stochastic / M A C D) - (Optional - advanced).
• Moving Averages (MA) / BBMA (Bollinger Bands Moving Average) CSAK/CSM.

Trend Retracement Setups: (Low frequency - High RR).
• Identification of W1/D1/H4 trend direction.
• Identification of retracement confluence factors visible on D1/H4/H1.
• Entries placed directly on RN /0.5RN with either SR/SD/Fib/TL present at the level. (more confluence = more confidence).
• Stop Loss - Fixed 10/20 pips or behind SD zone (Break even at 1:1.5 RR)
• TP at opposing RN/SnR/SnD at 50 pips or 100+ Pips (user preference).

Range setups: (Medium Frequency - Medium RR).
• Identification of D1/H4 sideways range.
• Identification of RN/SD/FB at both edges of the range.
• Entries placed directly on RN with SD zone or FB present.
• Stop Loss - Fixed 10/20 pips or behind SD zone (Break even at 15 pips).
• TP at opposing zone/SnR 50/100 pips or opposing range SD zone.

Counter Trend Setups: (High Frequency - lower RR) *These setups occasionally evolve into high RR reversals*
• Identification of approaching Zone or SnR.
• Identification of distant SD zone or FB level. Or identification a smaller fresh FB level created in front of the RN at arrival. (See chart).
• Entries on RN (FTB only).
• Stop Loss- 10/20 pips (Break even set at 15 Pips).
• TP or partial TP at 30 or 50 pips for counter trend reversals. I recommend holding a 50% partial.

entry at SnD with RN confluence or fib level sometime you can use price action pattern like engulfing or pin bar but you need to have clear confirmation of trend(Trending or counter trend or sideway)

actually you have to make your own strategy for interday trading however you can use same method for interday too

Hey Congrats on the Thread, I have been following Shahab's method and learning. Confluence trading is definetly helping me with the confidence to take the trade. Here is AUDNZD I am looking at currently.

Confluence:
1) Support Turned Resistance
2) Weekly Resistance
3) 0.618 Fib Retracement

I think I have tried to do is to download a bunch of charts from shahab and whenever I am looking at my charts, I try to find similar setups on Shahab's chart and see what would he have done and also try to validate my idea with previous trades he has taken.

hope to share my ideas and learn from you guys also.

Here is GBPUSD taken based on:

1) Round Number
2) Support Level with multiple wicks previously

Target: Looking to complete the W formation on the Daily for a potential sell.

Welcome buddy ... that was a great trade with lots of confluence for interday trading but still i m looking for sell overall ..

Hey Thanks. 1 thing i learned from Shahab is to both look for counter trend and trend based trades so I definetly try to trade both ways. I take lower risk on the counter trend trades and a full risk on a trend trade.

Here is my GBPUSD sell. I closed my GBPUSD buy at 141.450 because of NFP but seems like should have held it on to 142. I took a sell at 141.950 hoping for a lower low.

Here was another trade I had planned for today for GBPNZD. It has a strong daily reference near round number and there was divergence on the Daily suggesting a lower price.

The confluences I looked for:

1) Round Number
2) Divergence on Daily
3) Looking to complete W formation on Daily for the target.

GU, 143 Level To watch.

Thanks meugampong, i did not thing about the monthly Fib. thanks for pointing that out. I have my short running with BE so will definetly keep the 143 level in mind for longs if i get stopped out.
