same thing is now happening here with investment schemes where money is pooled, now unless you can get an accountant to certify that you are worth 2mil as a wholesale individual or company you cannot even apply and are no longer allowed to participate in high yield schemes

well friend, I consider >1:40 leverage bad leverage so I'm not complaining.. I'm grateful to the regulators as it prevented me from making mistakes. at least newbies need the restriction IMO

Depending on what your trading... each speculation must have criteria to take on or off risk. Each person see a market or instrument from the basis they learned from someone else. REALITY CHECK... there is nothing new under the sun...no one is original to what you are doing in trading market instruments.

Some technical experience helps, seasonality, rotation of money from Team A vs Team B, if you did not get what Team A or B is, you should not be trading at all.

Crude oil has seasonality and influence from policy changes...so does the EURO. There is astro-timing as well with EURO Natal sun date and planetary correlations.

But who cares right? The thing everyone is called to do...is develop a personal system that relates to price movement.

And the basis of trading without a stop loss must have merits to criteria.
Should one consider buying a stock or currency prior or post earnings or news release? How about Fed Rate Announcements? Why should one be a seller or a buyer? What is your vision of instrument in an environment...coming toward or post event?

No matter who you are or how you trade...YOU NEED AN ENVIRONMENT YOU MENTALLY RELATE WELL TOO AND ENGAGE A STRATEGY THAT YOU HAVE STATICIAL EDGE. Every trade anyone will employ always works or fails...pending the environment a trade is placed within.

Each speculator determines criteria to why, when, how...they are to take risk on or off. The key is study to show yourself approved to the truth of how things actually are systemized. An instrument price is not rising or falling for no reason...discern why. Scalping or trend following...know thy instrument and who are the players.
Their is no luck in speculation. You see, you recognize, you understand...or your guessing. No need to guess...learn, get experience, become wise.

Trading without stop loss yes I think need to understand with the pair that traded and the news that drives the movement, but trading without stop loss also not effective if against the major trend market, a margin call is possible and if use big capital will be dragged on loss floating in big number.

how do you know the news move is real? rumour is: the fed feeds the script milliseconds prior to the market manipulators, so they can adjust within the nano and then the sheep get slaughtered, don't be the sheep.

yeap trade the value area for 5-15 pips

if you put a trade on and the risk is such that you cannot sleep at night then its only a matter of time before the account blows up, the leverage is a debt and obviously it could not be paid for..

leverage a trade so that 5-15 pips is an almost given and inconsequential and then when you see it run 100+ pips away from you 'trade it' such that you buy or sell out of the money until it retraces enough.. that is trading!

closing out May and numbers are looking pretty good on a/u because i farm it like a boss , might be a slow steady next few months, still looking for something to double in a month, a/u just came out of a high vol event so with a bit of luck it will sit in a nice 700pip buildup for the next few months or so, might be worth dialing up the risk as it has run high? or maybe i just got lucky??

When you have been so many years in trading I dont think is luck

have not traded fx the whole time, I hit a desire V need wall a long time ago, had some time away and even bid live for profit for a number of years, then things change and so on, trading in general (and always+everything) for sure

Removing stop losses from my trading was the single best decision for me.
Only traded demo the last two years because i don't really have the capital for a live account
But i managed to get pretty much constant profit in that time period. And i don't think i have had only luck the last two years
