In this volatility and reversal from essential longterm support with strength on a Friday and a delicious veal and spinach and red wine lasagna, I find its well worth the wait if entry is under 2180. 2200 is the main resistance now. I am waiting to see how it acts. Still buying... and eating :

That's some interesting coincidence it's at the same level. I don't use those smaller numbers, I only use fibs during the recent moves. For me, this was just a simple pull back in the medium-term up trend. Unless I get confirmation that the super long-term trend is having a pullback, I don't whip out the fib from the very origin of the move. But the fact that it lines up is pretty cool

I hope so dear friend! but I am in no rush... Bears have decent momentum going since wednesday. This here could be just a normal reaction to such an important level. Its in next weeks hands now. Bulls can break that momentum by dancing above 2215. That is my best case scenario for today. Much harder would be for the bears to break bulls weeks long and steady momentum on which I have been depending on for TPs. But they (fellow trader energies and the bears) will break that bulls momentum one day also... just hope its later than sooner

Market responded exactly like it should in a continuation of the uptrend.
Look at the gold boxes at the top and the middle. Playing a 60-10 sequence down to the middle with a deeper drop to the (0) Fib to take out the stops.
Back up to 1.2239
Up sequence is now 0-50-0.

Any pullback from here has a support of 1.2170 it should hold.

Looks like the Grizzly King himself has been keeping both eyes on that tough ~1.22 resistance.

I agree. Today was a (nasty) reminder to bears that we're still in an uptrend. 100% of the down move has been retraced. Institutions took out a lot of liquidity today, and it's looking like a huge hammer on the daily, or a massive Wyckoffian spring on the H4. Clearly it's going to continue upwards to test January's highs at 1.23xx.

I got burnt a bit today trying to short on the way up. Stopped out once and then I pulled the plug on the second short for a small loss. Overall had a good week. Was a great week, but now just a good week.

Yes and maybe the Grizzly Kink forgot it. Big boys/gals! just waiting for enough bears to jump in ? Maybe it will be tough for bulls if we get back to 2190 now to at least slow down this move. Also, more rambling, reversals like these dont happen everyday even if quite natural. This will have been the cleanest end of a correction I have traded in a while, if it holds up. I doubt it will though. Same old same old... as long as potential reward is way greater than risk, I m in.

Looks like 2197 micro support holding fine

Today was a wild big big swing days. I am on the side lines for now. I took a loss because I got excited and broke my trading rules. I did not waited for the trade to develop and jumped in too early. Observing on the daily chart market or price is back in the middle of last 8 days. It looks like the market might trade sideway for a while. The brokers just cleaned up all the long and short orders of the retail trades from there books. Plus the uptrend still looks in place, going forward taking long trades make sense. thanks!! That’s what I was wondering. Was chatting with my buddy last night - he’s been doing mini efutures on s&p and learning some “strategy” and comparing notes each day just doesn’t make sense what he’s doing.
