Well, I don't think there is a substantial resistance to the upside. Just not enough volume to feed the bulls some grass. We will see how it goes when the Asian session kicks in. At least, it made that dip last night (although didn't even reach the trendline).
But it's tricky now, if the price just moves sideways it will move out of the rising wedge soon and then it will probably fall. So it has to rise in order to stay in the wedge. This H4 has to close above 1.2193 in order to be slightly bullish, but algos push it lower again.
EDIT: It closed one pip above at 1.2194 - I'd call this super slightly bullish.

Curious in your chart what differentiates between tested and untested support? Price has to be rejected more then one with some set amount of time between each attempts say 4 or 24 hours?

we are bulls in trouble ..... and based on the trading range area that while the price movement will be bearish, at least for the next 1 week .... remember ..... rules no 1 : "don't lose your money", rules no 2 : if you lose your money then cut your losses quickly .... rules no 3 : cut your losses ... rules no 4 : let your profit run

what time from a time frame close are you referring to? Daily?

this is the spot I found myself in often - got an ok trade in and it’s sitting right at resistance (or support) and I don’t close and hold and (usually fall asleep or work) and it evaporates 70-100% or best case I put in a stop to lock in some pips there’s a retrace or whatever my stop gets hit by a few pips or even dead on and again while (sleeping / working) price continues in my favor and down another 100% or what I was in at and very happy for.

so tempted to close here

hourly to understand direction. daily to understand termination points.


im also short since 1.2204. no reason to close now imho. expecting leg down

After a dull day I continue with the M15.. Based on this time frame as long as candles open below 1.2191 I don't buy... BUT as long as candles open above 1.2180 I don't sell either... Patience is still key.. Happy trading day to all
