Just got stopped on my last long from earlier today. Still up pip wise from start of the week so no complaints really. But looking back over the last 24 hours now seeing what I could / should have seen before. Which is ....stay out of crap thin ranging price action and just be patient.

will see how the 2130 area holds

200 pip per month consistently isnt possible. happy to be pleasantly surprised if different.

We better leave topics of "what if's" that could lead to endless discussions to the weekend.. Let's focus on trading the EURUSD.. It's a friggin' Wednesday before German and French holidays.. We need to be extra careful today! Thanks

Uh-ohh! Long retail orders have begun to add up.. I am thinking of switching sides now if they exceed 55%.. This is a total disappointment for me to see that my Shark actually plays out.. If I knew I would have just shorted 1.2177 and stick to the pattern.. But this is not how sharks behave.. This hesitant pa killed all my intentions. Sighs! Waiting for London..

Hi Ata, How do you collect the data of retailor situation? And How do you distinguish the difference between the move of smart money and the fake move?

I normally check open lot size statistics of real accounts listed at the bottom on home page of FF every 4 hours or so.. Once I see a 10% change between two 4 hour candle openings I begin to watch statistics every hour or so..

Now.. as long as buyers are below 42% I think bullish.. Between 43 and 54% I only scalp and have a neutral bias.. Once buyers reach 55% and higher I switch to bullish..

Channeling mode started. 1.2145 support was broken.
LEG 3 can have a beat of 29+ pips typically beyond the outlying fractal.
if LEG 4 pulls back beyond E89/E121 it is an immediate get in on the direction till the exit of LEG 6
LEG 6 is expected to make a beat beyond the outlier fractal (often made by 5, sometimes by 6 itself) by 10,21 or 29 pips

I haven't traded for a few days, they were kind of silence of retail lambs to me although I can imagine courageous scalpers could earn quite a few pips. However, I still expect price visit this 1.209x area. Until then, sideline for me. Have a great day, guys!

Think the CPIs will provide direction. Since markets have panicked already in the last days the reaction will probably be skewed to the upside. I estimate it like this:

<= 0.2% UP
0.3% probably up (maybe small dip, but it dipped already)
0.4% dip, then probably up because FED does not care
>= 0.5% DOWN

But it is even more tricky as there are two numbers, personally I think the core CPI is more important because the CPI is much more volatile by nature.

At choppy times like this I prefer to run away with little bites of profits, especially before London has opened..

09:54 ST 1.2135 started increasing short on my formerly blown up, overnight recovered, demo account. It can reasonably go up to 1.2157. I plan to sell all the way to there (if it gets there). Like climbing a mountain
10:32 ST 1.2135 blown. Going up to next zone. Carrying my short wherever it takes me ...with the help of some long hedging, this time.
11:01 ST. I built the long on the way down from the violation of 1.2135. Took out the short increments in profit and am now net long (underwater with price 1.2132). ...So deep that down retr. from the up break-out of 1.2135... Sometimes they make it such that the retr. is more worthwhile than the trendwise. The long hedge has become a net long. I have to stick with it.
11:23 ST. It got messy with my demo. Long oversized. Yet the low 1.2127 prob. not end of the down retr. Hedged short as it went back up. Expecting new push down [to go net long], otherwise I'll have to wait for a high 1.2157@ to get net short. In the meantime, limit buy 1.212 with real money.
11:31 ST. Close to fully hedged 1.2135 Waiting for 1.212 to go long or 1.2157 to go short, by closing the opposite position.

11:55 ST. From current 1.2135 I think today it's going to go both higher 1.2157 and lower, 1.212 I'll try to close all ops in profit. Now I'm 47/47 in profit. 32 positions running.
15:20 ST. No sign of reaction upon 1.212... Are they going to pull a sneaky down impulse?
15:40 ST. I had reversed short before the down impulse!! Demo account is up 620% from yesterday's low when I declared it lost. Real money up 1%
16:08 ST I'm short for a return to 1.21 about.
16:21 ST Real money up 2.3% and out. Demo is up 900% from yesterday's equity low with 107/107 ops in profit. My out is 1.208 1.2108
16:26 ST TRIUMPH All out and flat. Demo up 975% with 118/118 ops in profit. Real +2.3% 5/5 in profit.

18:18 ST Long on both demo and real 1.2073 for a return to 1.211
22:59 ST Real up 2.8% 8/8 leaving a long overnight. Demo, looks like a round +1000% since yesterday's equity low will elude me; up 992% 125/125 ops closed in profit. One hour to end of day rollover. ...end of day. Missed the 1000%
