On a side note: majority of retail is still short.. Therefore always be extra careful and hesitant when selling.. The higher (the later) the better..

Just can’t help myself seeing there still like 4 hours to go I think. Small lint at 2150 sl 2135. Maybe leave this one open over the weekend? Sometimes I win that lottery ticket on the week open. Doubt there would be a huge gap down I’d get a crap price at and even if so it’s a small enough position would basically cost me a steak dinner at worst

edit: could try closing at 2160+ and go short and see if there are a few ranging trades in there. Anytime I try this I can usually get 2 or 3 small ones in a row but after that I fall out or sync and usually just give back the couple good top to bottom range trades I won

Got a first long quick range based scalp triggered the minute after my short was stopped. Normally would already be out with +7, but hanging on, as usual. Already at BE.

That is actually the beginning of my day, strange....

better stop buy EURUSD, because if the price is too high it will make it difficult for EURO and add to a new crisis .... a situation that is a burden during the current covid pandemic ... talking about currency pairs is talking about the lives of many people

When “scalping” what’s your average position size compared to a non scalp based on the number or pips looking to take? Other words in a scalp are you taking a larger then normal position size with a tight stop in the hopes X pips is really X pips * Y greater position size? Or for scalps do a smaller position size and just try and take really small bites...almost more of entertainment and fun?

edit: would taking a trade from say 2145 to 2165 be a “scalp” it that was the range? Or would be more like half of that?

edit 2: my “scalp” is up 10 pips so should I take it or see what happens? Does a “scalp” often turn into a great entry on a longer trade? Assuming often it has to when some support or resistance is broken and price keeps moving why close it out

I am still waiting.. haven't sold yet.. it is getting late and volume dropped drastically.. maybe I cancel completely and decide next week.. I will be around for one more hour

Anyone every did an analyze about: weekly NFP candle closes with no wick
If I had time (my daughter is prio one on the weekends) I would go thru the history. Normally what I have obeserved are step responses after such high jumps. Looks like we stick to the weekly high at the end of the day (week).
The questions also: is the retailers mood really so important or just a small parameter in the big game?

Have all my setups to sell at 1.2174... just keeps stopping under it... About to just bail and call it a day.

Look at history for any daily moves of this nature and check out next day. You see, you will have plenty of great opportunities Monday to revise and enter.
