H1 Status Update

..and based on this time frame I have similar levels in sync with Daily chart.. 1.2030 is nearest resistance here followed by 1.2039 and 1.2053..

*For my followers: Bulls are in control.. 1.2010 is our current aggressive buy level..

In terms of H4 horizontal lines it is even 1.2027 which should be main resistance and upon passing main support in my eyes. It slices nearly perfectly through the H4 candles of the last month, only violating the body of three candles.

****** Sidenote: after such reversal at 1980s support and other factors like the news coming up, I cannot accept any short setups above 2011 this week.

Bulls have won a first 1980s support battle. BUT is it enough? Can price pick up the steam and turn it back down?
If bulls can bring it back above 2030s with this same move and keep it up there till the news, bears would probably have much, much harder times ahead. But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves...

1980 Rejection yesterday could not have been much stronger:

Downward volatility had not ceased to grow for almost 2 hours before bulls took over, before slowing down at 2010s resistance, which is significant. Overall a good first battle. Straight volatility growth : -+105min for Bears vs -+210m for Bulls. More importantly, even with bears +day long momentum and strength, price had not yet been able to break the very important 1980s support. Since then, it has been swinging in some indecision and that actually gave weight to the longer term bulls, at least till 80s would be properly broken.

And now todays rejection, not stemming from any further than 92, gives even more weight for a possible uptrend follow through.
Being extra careful though, as volatility is still growing and fresh and any quick drop below 2011 with such volatility and price could easily go and test the 1980s again.


All this, and 1980s properly tested, enabled me to update my levels, which I will not bother sharing, as it is still more likely that my positions will be closed prior to them being reached, if ever.

So now I finally have my monthlonglongtermuptrends final SL(say that 5 times in a row !), which for now is 1985. Will have to loosen during news if price is within range.

And finally, after over a month of crazy "buying and keeping":

If stopped at 1985, this uptrend would then bring me, withall cost and other factors considered, an added 12%, compared to if I had used my usual TPs instead of moving SL to BE.

yesterday and today: 11 surviving new longs since 1991, all at BE now. +4 still in development, will be at BE also when/if 33 is reached. Probably will all be stopped out, again. But that is expected.

I doubt it will get to the important 60s-80s soon or even at all, but am always preparing for anything as usual. Am watching new setups developing already from now to 30, and depending on how 30s-40s reacts, from now to 80s. Being extra careful now as 33 could have strong rejection.

Just got a long open at 20249 as I write this. Moved at BE the second 33 is hit, if hit.

All probably coming to an end at last, waiting only to be redone when the conditions are ripe again.

12:19 ST Short overrun by 17 PiPs. Now short 1.2042 and +6.6% on account balance. Looking to reduce the short.

19:30 ST I'm enraged. Past two hours fighting trying to get to close the day at +10% longing after reversing from my losing short. But the bitch kept going down. I buy buy buy sell sell as it retrs. up. Four or five times never quite getting there. So fucking annoying Closing the day +8.4%

Not sure if I got the essence - I understand that you are mostly long, but at the same time you don't believe that 1.2060-80 is reached anytime soon, correct? Or were you referring to 1.1960-80?

Hello all.
I'm have been trading for 5 months now and I just recently took myself to joining this community so I am just asking for opinion.
I have been trying to hedge EURUSD for more than a month now with little success but I started to get a grasp on the movements on EURUSD.
So I see that everyone is always saying that if it passes a certain level bulls or bears take control. But in the situation right now couldn't it be that we're building up for a bigger fall? I mean there is this wedge. Theory says it will go up the number of pips as its opening is which I marked. Couldn't it be that it will reach that point and the NFP tomorrow will trigger that selloff that should happen to follow the Elliot waves on D1?

Hey man, I don't get it, why do you keep drawing it as a channel when it just proved it was a wedge?
You can still draw it as a channel when the falling wedge breaks to the downside...

I need it for history. where the lines are connected, there I can see R/S.
I make better channel than a wedge.
I don't often see a wedge, so I'm used to the channel.

Yes you should be, but at some point you should be looking to take profit and sell, right? It will not go up forever?

Closed the long @ 1.2048, +58 pips. Don't have the time to observe it for the rest of the day, hence calling it a day!
And they say pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.
58 - 15 pips initial loss yesterday still makes nice average of 21.5 pips a day.
