My account for last month contest was 7.49% gain which is below the required 23.6% minimum gain. I have reset my account to $5000.

NOW CONTEST-EXPERT is very smart to make evetything easy
for example your reset to 5000 or not, or start with 4700 or with 100,888, expert can distnguish based on 5,000
for example your equity by mistake was 77,777--you forget to set to 5000, and you see MCP=5,675 PIPS
expert see MCP 490 pips, he extract 5,000 out of these 77,777

also let us assume you by mistake reset account againt to 5000 after one week of contest start -- do not worry, expert will handle your mistake as if there is no mistake.

let us assume you want to sheet us, and reset account to 10000 to make MCP 500 instead of 400
you can cheat us, but you can not cheat the expert
so you can cheat us 10 times each day, and nothing will happen againts you--you may win the contest.

these things, may mates need some time to understand. math never lies

expert only look at 1) your open positions P/L 2) your closed positions P/L 3) PV each minute
then make calc based on 5,000 whatever your balance

i make it generic for all, so if anybody want to test hisself outside contest rules, he can do.
all related parameters are defaulted.

What i want to say:

usually depositd or initial balance is an input for your account. something that you start with.

here we do the oppiste , we make deposit or initial balance as the final output.

more illustrative example:
mira by mistake start with 1000 USD instead of 5000
and he reach at the end of contest to 2,000 USD. his net P/L is 1,000

in percentage his P/L is 100% ------but expert make it 20% <==== based on 5,000 (expert ignore his mistake)

1000/5000=20%
1000/1000=100%

since he start with 1000, he see MCP = 100 pips!
but actualy based on 5000 his min MCP was 500 pips compared to sawadee account of 5,000

before start of the contest you have already have 45 marks at your hand out of 100
MCP=25 marks
DD=20 marks

later on you may keep them as they are -- or spoil them partialy or totally!
