i do not really look at where price is going anymore lol.
BUT as you say 1390 looks good, actually level is 13860 and if it moves up 13990 or/and 00.

My week so far with the BillyBar.

Monday was a fail for -27 but personally i left out due to using little buffer, got +5 on the low break.
Tuesday was good for +5 but left out. I got 0.
Wednesday was a fail for -11 then. -11 (still hold in limbo).
Thursday was good for +5. I got the +5.

I am -1 %. +5, -11. +5. Actually more like -2% due to the negative swap on the counter + commissions.

Lets say I traded every day at the high/low trigger. I would be -27% now. -27, +5, -11, +5 = -27.

Still not sure how i would make the difference of the -27% then without increasing risk or trade size or not making a lot of more pips on any further instruments, methods, triggers...?

So i would be then at least back to break even after 4/5 days and two fails. Not to forget i would have to make a further +20% during such week to end up +5% for every single day on average

Anyways, have a nice day all. Again very compressing range on the Pound/Dollar. Wow, we did a range of 48 Pips 3 hours after NY opened? Last 5 days ADR = 83, wtf...

I just took a live trade on the Dax. No specific method / trigger, just following what i thought to see.

What I saw... (i try trader language)

- V-Reversal, is that correct?
- A larger Pin at the bottom where price obviously had problems going lower?
- A little retracement/pullback leading to a higher low, w00t.

Then i just jumped in long while price was showing green candles.

I guess the exit however was pure but did lead to a 320 Points win, 320 Points on the Dax = 3,2 Pips for GU ? But 1 lot here was only $1 instead $10.

Probably not that bad for this time of the day, no clue.

For the FIRST TIME EVER....I actually find myself in agreement with what you said. You don't even realize it but you just found your "thing"

1) Pin bar @ or close to what YOU believe is support
2) A few up bars
3) More down bars ( you don't know if it is a higher low yet)
4) Look for first up bar and assume you are making a higher low.
5) Stop below the LL....Tgt is up to you...but at least 1:1 minimum

RINSE , REPEAT This is what everybody has been saying to you for ever. Trade what you SEE

nice of you.

Well i always found that i am quiet okay with just trading what is see but then there is a demon insight telling me "you must have a trigger/method/strategy" (you name it).

Normally the trades i do by just entering/exiting while having a chart open and nothing fancy more are 8 of 10 wins. (That is also how i fixed so far for the monetary losses on trading the BillyBar).

I am just not sure how to build any kind of strategic trading plan based on that? You see, i don't want to trade small positions all day long to get me anywhere near to be able to pay some bills from it. Let alone reaching to a status of "retired from trading" after paying tax to Finanzamt.

Thats where the BillyBar and all that statical trading last year dropped in and i though, okay that could be something..

For sure that doesn't help if your losing trades are 5 times higher and you cannot fix them. Plan B here is totally missing. Since this is the commercial section i would even pay for that secret sauce but i more and more come to the conclusion there might be no structured plan behind fixing for these fails and "scalping out of it" is the way to go.

Its talked about having new trigger/method to fix these negative locked in countered then but nobody can show 1 month of doing so in a transparent way. I totally understand and respect it, just saying. Its no teaching thread here. Got that.

So yes, doing okay but really still having no real plan hehe. Still far away from being able to make this as a career/income like that.

A 5% is what i need a month, nothing more nothing less.

Not saying you personally won't : ) just without any of those additions you won't make those losses back. It's as simple as 1+1=2 (or 5+5+5-27=-12).

Nice trade there. This will help u with fixing the trades. Have a look to the left and u can see some support/momo.

Hi all,
Nifty 50 i did not touch as the 00-00 4 hour range was massive. the high broke and did make approx 10ish, then a drop down and right now it looks like it might still go up.

just waiting for Cable 08-00 break.

a day or two ago i posted about a trade i had done.
i mentioned (a pin bar), these can help you no doubt, as it is added information.

When i spoke of compounding , i said the best trades we lookj for levels, inside bars etc, ( etc could be the pin).

i watched Dax yesterday drop and i took a few on the retrace back up. (for a few points).
Then it dropped again, i had already finished trading by then, if i remember correctly.

what goes down must go up, especially Dax. and it is moving back up , 50 so far.
AND i didn't trade any of it, lol
