I go both ways but it took a while to get there, and a lot of work !
As long as I follow my plans and rules and adapt to any scenario the plans has not foreseen, right ? I constantly go both ways, as long as the TFs arent too close together, it very good.
About doubles my Rt/DD ratio, without exaggeration.
Just was a lot of homework when developing and adapting the specs.
With my strategies optimal parameters from one TF are completely different from another.
Similarly, with some strategies, even the buy params are completely different from the sell.

good one ! alone developed all variants of my main trend and countertrend and ranging strategies through +15 years of trading and going through all the price action over and over again and calculating all probabilities in relation to them. A good statistician friend helped a lot back in my beginnings.My other trend and countertrend and ranging and scalps and other " harder to name " strats, I have been optimizing them regularly with the help of mt5 and excel...

Warm hello to the very few here ! Hello Asia !
I am just quickly dropping by to update my last 2 longs.
Ill quote parts of my last posts in an attempt to put it in context.
I posted lengthy posts about the main ideas driving this trade.
This position started with a partial trailing stop at around 1969, and one at 1989. With open TP, which most likely will be above 2100.
I had not mentioned SL or TP because too many changes are made to this type of trade, as price movement evolves from the trades opening.
The vast majority of my strategies are dynamic. They use no fixed levels, SLs, TPs.....
Now SL for this position is already at BE, at 2011 .
For a bit of context for what happened after that entry :
First bolded part is what finally happened after I took the trade and that was one of the main conditions for staying in the trade. If one of these scenarios mentioned had not happened, I was out !
The second bolded part is what has been potentially happening now, and for a good 11+ hours already. This short-term steady momentum is often a silent killer. In fact, we are in one since the beginning of the month, on the daily. Cant wait to see when it will end !
This last bulls move right now, 1920s to 1940s, even though it has great "slow but deadly" momentum for now, has not come far enough yet and there is still a good enough chance that it is simply still the high of a range with an unpredictable ending, which would give plenty of opportunity to get back in if it ever drops back down at a new range bottom.
Perhaps the -+.2050s will be rejected again ( this is the 4th day it is being tested). It is also important for me to notice here we are on our 16th day in this steady and unwavering rise. See image below...
If price comes back down around 2011, and even all the way to 1970s, and comes back up around 1990-2010 levels, I will look for reentries, perhaps even much earlier, if the right conditions are met.
AND finally, my last and soo fragile yet so strong 2034 position. The silent and perhaps deadly one. I will not get into the details. I will just say that it is a momentum based ANTI-divergence scalp which has the potential to become much more.
I normally would have exited that momentum scalp loooong ago, but it has not moved down 3 pips since it was taken hours ago, and I am purposely hanging on to as many BEs positions as I can.
Also, as you can see on the short-term, for now, still, momentum is clean and pure like stream water. But we all know it there has to be a hidden water fall somewhere !
Am moving SL to BE now, at 2034
And another chart pic with the levels on the 1H and where we are now.

Good morning all! And big moves at this critical level ! This has been the level to which I had envisioned it would reverse and start going south. But things have evolved significantly in the last 2 hours and had to change plan significanly to adapt. This is a great opportunity to buy, although risky. I now have a reversal on volatility and I have bought at 2011. Updating soon

if strong bulls .... range daily target around 1.20903 .... and the price 1.20638 is a reasonable target to reach within a few candles ahead tf h1
