I believe I understand your motive but holding buy swing trades in such strong downtrend is dangerous in my experience but we all different risk appetities.

Good morning, its 09.39am this side

Here is a shortlist of some of the things that contributed to most of the losses that I incurred during this downtrend.

* Buying in a seller's market
* Repainting indicator(s) like the brilliant reversal
* Ignoring the probabilistic approach of trading
* Not posting analysis charts in forex factory to interact with other traders

I realised that my mind doesn't remember as much as I want it to, so that has to be compensated with a system.

This is a risk percentage determiner and a lot size calculator to know exactly how many trades I have, how much in dollars I am risking based on the risk on each trade and how big does my lot size has to be based on the predetermined risked but varying stop-loss distance.

The calculator is complete but not perfect.

Good afternoon. It's 12:27 on this side. Thought I let you know that I'll soon be a commercial member so I am not sure if ill be able to post on this section of the forum though before then I am still about this thread

Price is currently at 0.86554, a short term sellers zone with a Hammer on the H4 chart at the highest point of the wave.

From the 9th, the price has been making higher lows and lower lows

0.86369 is what I see as the last price level to enter with sell stop orders.

Good morning, it is 04:03 on this side.

Correlation on the daily shows that EURUSD AND EURGBP were not positively correlated in the past 10 trading days with a coefficient of -0.31 though in the past 6 trading days it shows a positive 0.98.

EURGBP- There is a bullish moving average cross over (EXPONENTIAL-MA with modifications of 6 for the faster EMA and 18 for the slower EMA) on the daily and all lesser timeframes.

The downtrend resistance is invalidated and might be retested in the coming weeks.

A swing?

On Thursday it was. The H4 shows that sellers have taken place with the Engulfing candle and. 0.8670 Has been broken and now acts as resistance. The Price level of 0.86394 Still has to be broken.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

EUR/GBP chart - Trading View Fundamental Overview: The British pound was buoyed after Q1 GDP data released earlier today confirmed a brighter outlook for the UK economy. UK Q1 GDP contracted -1.5%, marginally less than the -1.6% consensus helped by a stronger March GDP reading. UK economy expanded by 2.1% in March. Adding to this, the UK Industrial/Manufacturing Production figures and Goods Trade Balance also came in better than consensus estimates. Technical Analysis: Bias Bearish - EUR/GBP is extending BoE-led losses, shows gradual grind lower-Price action is below major moving averages, 5-DMA is biased lower - Momentum studies are bearish, RSI is below 50 mark - GMMA indicator shows near-term moving averages have crossed below long-term moving averages - Volatility is rising as evidenced by widening Bollinger bands Support levels - 0.8563 (cloud base), 0.85, 0.8415 (88.6% Fib) Resistance levels - 0.8625 (5-DMA), 0.8640 (21-EMA), 0.8658 (55-EMA) Summary: Stronger pound weighs on the pair, dragging it lower. Technical analysis also supports weakness. Cloud base offers immediate support. A breach below cloud will see the test of 88.6% Fib at 0.8415.

EUR/GBP recovery capped at daily cloud, the scope for downside resumption


EUR/GBP chart - Trading View Technical Analysis: Bias Bearish - Recovery attempts capped at daily cloud - Momentum indicators have turned bearish, RSI has slipped below 50 - The pair is extending weakness for the 4th straight week - GMMA indicator shows major and minor trend are bearish on the daily and weekly charts - Price action is below major MAs, MACD and ADX support downside in the pair Support levels - 0.8560 (76.8% Fib), 0.8495 (Trendline), 0.8440 (Lower W BB) Resistance levels - 0.8606 (200H MA), 0.8637 (20-DMA), 0.8646 (55-EMA) Summary: Upbeat UK Retail Sales and mixed UK PMI prints provide some support to the British pound.
