Hey Nordling, just wanted to make sure that I understand how you mean this. You are short USD because US data is good and the FED is dovish - so do you have lower real yields in mind (higher inflation with low rates) or why does a strong US economy support your picture of a weak USD?

Update - last night was up around 120 pips then dropped to around 60 (I’m us central time) shortly after London open was up again then dropped and got stopped out at 50 pips few hours later woke woke up and got back in again long at same spot I was stopped but now at 1/3rd size position I had built over a couple days. Continuation of my posts yesterday I really need to learn when to take money off the table and wait for the next re-entry. Was still a win but 1/3rd the win could have had and now starting to build all over again

H1 Status Update

While below 1.1977 bears keep fighting with bulls and trying to break nearest trend line.. But candles still above GREEN line gives bulls the upper hand.. Sideways Asian session can be expected.. Market needs a breakout either from 1.1977 to the upside or from 1.1963 to the downside.. Time will tell..

*My sell order from 1.1975 is still active with mental stop still sitting around 1.1980.. If any H1 closes above 1.1977 I will get rid of my sell order..

Glad you got out of them! EU has been a bit up and down lately....might see what cues we get later, although Fridays can be a bit tricky especially in the evening (apparently)...we may still get a retrest of the 1960 zone, but I think you're right...up and down with a slight bias towards bullish action...

would feel compfortable entering longs @ 1944. has it got legs to go down here ?

only got rid of shorts to stay on the side of the trend how i see it.

No longs for me, I am flat now...I scalped late last night a quick buy but went to bed (as I have a big few days of writing) so I took what I needed quickly and moved on. I not long at present although tempted when we start to close above the 1975 mark and move above the 20EMA/54 WLA (weighted linear average) and show some bullish movement, even if small at first, but it will be a good sign
Edit: from about 10am, took a small scalp from around the 1970 region for just a few pips,,,probably unnecessary given the time of day but very small parcel used...set TP at the 1974 mark....

hoping so - got stopped out from my longs earlier this week which were doing really well. Ended up back in close to where I got stopped out. Not sure what to think now moving into the last 20 hours or whatever it is

Hmm for transparency, my small scalp is now 13 pips underwater! Yeah! lol...no but I did have the chance for TP but didn't so if scalping then be quick, if not suffer long term! I might exit soon I think, as I can't see it getting back up to the 1975 mark anytime soon!! It also reminds me that the EU is not great during the Asian session! Thought the bounce or bullish momentum would hold at certain points, and admittedly was on a Teams call when I should have been watching to get out with less loss! Live and learn another day! Will watch for potential bounce or support down around the 1945/50 mark later on!

not so sure about that. trend is up imho. 1944 should hold and provide a bounce

Im with you fellow trader. Bought and buying till 1965 max, because the range has shifted down too much.

The bears have taken more control of this terribly long range, pushing it down almost to the point of breaking it at last.

And it could, right here.

That is why, among other factors, this last attempt back up in the 60s is VERY important for me to confirm that there is a strong enough chance that this will remain just that 2 days long main bottom of a stubborn range ! and that the price will pursue its course up today.

Could have to sell soon and close a number of longs, will know in the next 10-40min probably.
If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!
