Got my new buy stop at 1.19736 ready, as long as there are no more closes below 70 it stays active.

Ill be trailing the stoploss from 67, and need a quick move above 80, at which Ill move the SL at BE. Thats it for me today, have a good one guy and gals and trade safe with the discipline of STEEL!
If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

It looks like through 1.2 it will move to up top 1.23.

Sorry to hear that mate! I saw the action a bit last night and I was tempted initially to short but all 3 of my MAs are rising strongly, strangely enough I haven't entered a long yet either...I still wonder if we get a bit of a PB yet, so you may yet get to B/E with luck! We could see it retest the 1.1980 mark even if briefly.

Got my next long set up for 855, need a direct break over 90. Momentum needs to stay intact as this is a small momentum trade.
If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

Love the name 'Monk' (both for martial arts and Jazz reasons!). I agree,,,I have so many trades where I make $8.75 or $6.80 or just B/E to save a loss..however many times my trades have then gone onto do really well...so it's a hard game and frustrating at times! Glad to hear that I am not alone (well sorry to hear that you suffer it too)...however for me, preserving capital so I can 'trade another day' is paramount in a game designed to take your money off you!
The EU is not doing much at the moment, dull Asian session for sure but slowly creeping up to retest resistance at 1.19916....be interesting to see if we break through to 1.20 today...

Just wanted to say hi all and wish you a great trading day. Hope you make it all back today Godzilla.

I needed price to close right away above 1990, to prove it was ripe for this strategy to be used on it.

Now there are a bit more chance that resistance will hold longer, and will look potential shorts around 77 if its following a significantly fast enough drop.

BUT I am in and as long as there is no move below 1982 for now, Im staying in this long position.

In light of all this, have to modify my exit strategy and therefore am tightening the stop prematurely to 19826 , moving it up to BE the second 90 is touched, if touched.

looks like maybe we are about to keep pushing up. Glad I held on through the day. Going to see how next 4 hours goes then probably just close in profits. I don’t know will see how it goes

Okay cool although I never saw it here in Australia. Well EU is hitting a bit of resistance, and I am long but a few pips under water as admittedly I entered near resistance. I have always been a short term or scalper to avoid being exposed in the markets too long....but let's see what the EU does...to push up another 10-15pips would be good but it can move so slowly during the Asian session. I shorted UCAD before and had my money in about 15 minutes, but EU? It take ages! lol...I wonder if I haven't entered at a bad time though as it is already falling...I did have a gut feeling not to enter so I entered very little but bad timing on my behalf...under 10 pips...and I might bow out with a very small loss and watch from the side lines

I helped fix your loss for you, I entered long and it plummeted immediately to the 1.1972 mark for you....I hate trend trading sometimes...not used to sitting around exposed for hours..lol...admittedly entry was poorly timed....I am sure you are either out or about to get out soon?

yes still in. close below 1978 has affirmed my bearish bias so will stay in. close below 1961 will confirm a new downtrend. so will wait and see.

given the second chance i dont mind taking a loss i.e fool me once shame on u(market). fool me twice shame on me.

Sure fellow trader! But that is far off.

First, has to break 1.17 levels, which were strongly rejected 3 times already.

Could just as well shoot back up above 1.22 and stay above for a very very long time,

or just keep moving between the .16 and .2 for a long long time.

We have to wait and see how it acts at .2 levels resistance or .17 levels.

Buy limit @ 1.1955, SL 1.1940 (TBD with myself yet, but not a lot lower for sure), TP 1.1986. We will see if I gets there but I guess bulls need to take a little deeper breath before moving North now.
