As many seem to eye the 1.1980 region, I expect a sharpe retreat from there, only to be followed by an explosion back above 1.20 shortly thereafter.

Maybe I should also sell a couple of lots at 1.1975, just in case..

Here is where I always fail....up 62 pips on my long. Got 42 locked in with a stop. Do I close and call it a good trade or hold. Maybe look for a short at 1980? It depends on too many factors that you alone can know of.

EURUSD has been mainly bullish for the last 2 weeks, and on this last move up, there has still not been any sign that it was reversing.

BUT that does not matter as much as a very long list of factors like how the given strategy works through these conditions throughout the years... money, risk management... current and recent situation.... I could go on and on and on but its late. But there is always lot of homework to be done, at least at the beginning.

In my experience, a trade per trade analysis is simply not enough. The whole picture has got to be considered, and its a whole picture that is filled to the very top !

P.S Im sure you do not need to hear this, but if one decides to stay in around this time, just dont forget to loosen your SL appropriately for spread widening.

If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

Still mainly long, but I do not consider this last up movement enough to stop selling entirely. Need at minimum another good higher low and higher high to start going 100% longs again !

Volatility steadily gone down for 6 hours and finally growing lightly again for the last 30m or so. Probable it will make a move up or down very soon. So just popping in to possibly add another long, at .19528, and have already placed my buy stop. The strength is not right for anything but an entry with a 15minute expiration applied IF candle at entry doesnt close above. Super tight trailing stop starting 1944, fixed once reach 1960

If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

Looks like a good area to build some longterm short down to 1.6 and lower. Short at 1.1960. SL 1.2010

Up 75 pips have my sell limit at 1980 and thinking of removing it...and just moving stop further up. Feels like London will keep taking it higher? So thinking move my stop up the difference between current price and what the limit would be and technically lock in the same amount but with potential for more if it breaks through 1980. Not sure that makes sense to anyone else

I've a bit of longing going on with a sell limit 1.1966 Plan is to keep a small net long in anticipation of a deeper retr. 1.1945 about, before up resumption. So I'll be increasing long as it goes down.

11:42 ST You look at the 1m and it gives the impression it is ready to explode upwards. Like they are having a hard time holding it. But, of course it's often like that before going down. It takes you to the edge, convincing you of one thing, before doing the opposite; that's how it gets you. There are good reasons to do a deeper retr. to 1.1945 or lower; to shake out the impulsive late buyers, for one.

17:09 ST Let my net long go in the red as planned. Didn't reach as low for me to add to the long. Went net short around 1.196. Closed everything and out +1.8%.

Data feed from ICMarkets got interrupted for 13 minutes and I'm still looking at the false charts with the missing skipped periods from feed out. Too unnerving to continue. Closing everything and looking for a new broker.
