Im pretty sure thats freedom filled with bad choices. If he's bringing a child into a world without holding down a full time job, can't put food on the table, thats bad choices all because of Freedom.

Elon creates jobs, factories, and economic development for the whole economy lifting everyone out of poverty. I mean shit Tesla wants to build a city in Texas. All based on Freedom, in one of the freest places on earth.

Well we arent debating. It just seems you havent been able to conform with freedom very well, continuing to hold on to the past, not moving forward to grow.

This article had nothing to say about slavery. It was simply talking about bonuses and a union forming. Companies dont like unions, so instead they pay more, give better benefits, and give bonuses. Based on performance, to further advance the business and company. Where as unions create stagnation in the company, they lose innovation and employees who are willing to go above and beyond, what the company asks of them, simply because the individual knows it is his own path, as an individual, to go above and beyond will.

The ones who like Unions are LAZY. FACT.

There you go again, trying to bring in this made up idea. This article had nothing to say about "a struggling family trying to live on $7.50", It was specifically about stock options. Stocks are how to give employees more money, incentivizing spending, into the economy, simply from working, creating economic growth.

Elon at the same time is building his own town, Starbase Texas, for individuals to work, at there free choosing. 3 days ago he announced 30 million dollars for local development. Which will create thousands of jobs. If your that struggling family making $7.50 an hour, you should be doing everything you can, to get as close as possible, to the Tesla factory in Brownsville Texas. Why?

The wealthiest company in the world, pays its employees really well. They have to spend money, on daily needs from food, to electronic, to schools, to everything in between.

Thousands of well paying jobs, just waiting. Stop using this struggling idea to hold people back. Take the opportunities to move forward and improve upon yourself, to earn more, and be better change, instead of allowing yourself to be stuck.

The law is in place to cover these situations. The question is, did and does Musk have in his employment contracts a stipulation that to be offered a job at Tesla you can't be a member of an organised Union? If he has such a line in the contract then anyone employed by Tesla wilful signed up to that. If there is no such clause then the only redress is on site workers collective action in protest at some shared grevance. That's how unions were formed in the first place after all. Stock options are being used as a goad and chain - free people would be share holders buying into the company they happen to work for.

It would appear that would be a fair interpretation of the tweet. It appears that the some conditions far exceed those provided for under the previous UAW regime. And they get stock options thrown in.

I'm not sure of American law and if you can contract yourself out of being represented by a labour association, but it wouldn't surprise me. It could make sense despite public policy concerns, knowing the incompetence, dishonesty and rorts of labour unions in Australia.

Australia used to have a thriving car manufacturing industry and even exported to many countries. The unions became very dominant to the point where a fairly unskilled position with a car manufacturer was remunerated nearly double the average Australian salary. Australia no longer makes any cars.
